The whole of Asia must be so proud that Taiwanese tennis player Yen
Hsun Lu has beaten USA's Andy Roddick in their faceoff yesterday at
Wimbledon Tennis 2010 held in London, England.
26-year-old Yen Hsun Lu (from Chinese Taipei), who's only 82nd in
tennis world ranking, defeated 5th-ranked Roddick (who was runner up
in Wimbledon 2009). Yen-hsun now advanced to the quarterfinals which
starts Wednesday.
It's Yen Hsun Lu's first time to reach the quarterfinals of a
grandslam tennis tournament and Asia's first in 15 years. Let's all
cheer for him guys!
But oh no! Yen-Hsun will be facing my favorite Novak Djokovic in the
quarterfinals. Goodluck to both of them!
Here's are the matches in the Wimbledon 2010 Quarterfinals:
Roger Federer (from Switzerland, rank #2) vs Tomas Berdych (Czech Republic, #13)
Rafael Nadal (from Spain, rank #1) vs Robin Soderling (Sweden, #6)
Novak Djokovic (from Serbia, #3) vs Yen Hsun Lu (Taiwan, #82)
