Andi Eigenmann's revelation in her Posterous account

Andi Eigenmann has finally revealed via her Posterous account (andieigengirl.posterous.com) that her baby's father is no less than Albie Casiño.

Andi Eigenmann's hair is now black. (Posted on Posterous last Aug. 27)

Andi's revelation isn't surprising at all, since everyone already knows that Albie is the father of her baby after the interview of Andi's father Mark Gil on The Buzz back in July.

But this is the first time that Andi Eigenmann is naming Albie Casiño as the father of her baby.

Andi started her Posterous account back in June 30, 2011 only a day after news broke out that she's 4-months pregnant. (Read: Andi Eigenmann pregnant!)

According to Andi, she decided to blog because she was bored.

Then just last Sunday, September 4, 2011, in her 9th blog post, Andi made a revelation that Albie is the father of her baby:

"Maybe instead of feeling bad that Albie left me to take on this responsibility by myself, I should thank him for giving me the opportunity to go out and find genuine happiness once again. I'd obviously love for him to be around eventually. You know, to save myself the struggle to find a good way to explain his absence to his child. At the same time, I'd understand. Cus after all, I have no idea who or what kind of a person all the fame and fortune has turned him into now. All I hope is that he's well."

But a day after, she edited her blog post and removed Albie's name. She just simply labeled Albie as the baby's daddy.

"Maybe instead of feeling bad that the baby('s) daddy (-_- really?) left me to take on this responsibility by myself, I should thank him for giving me the opportunity go out and find genuine happiness once again."

She later explained in her newest post today why she edited the said post.

"I'd just like to clarify that the post prior to this has been edited. Purpose for this is merely for "fans" (really?), to stop reacting so violently. So again, "fans", this blog wasn't created for you to make a big deal out of."

Andi Eigenmann is expected to give birth by end of November or early December.

The young expectant mom is now dating Erap's son Jake Ejercito.

James Soriano article at Manila Bulletin invites criticism

James Soriano, a 21-year-old student from Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) and columnist at Manila Bulletin since 2008, made it among hot searches on Google and also became a hot trending topic both on Twitter and Yahoo Philippines today, August 26, 2011.

James Soriano photo (Credit to his Multiply account)

That's because of James Soriano's article entitled "Language, learning, identity, privilege" which was published on Manila Bulletin's online website (mb.com.ph) at 4:06am today, but was later deleted before noon because of controversial content.

The fact that Manila Bulletin decided to remove James Soriano's article could mean that there must be something wrong in its content.

Good thing PEXers were able to copy the article before it was deleted. Read on...

Language, learning, identity, privilege

Ithink

By JAMES SORIANO

August 24, 2011, 4:06am

English is the language of learning. I’ve known this since before I could go to school. As a toddler, my first study materials were a set of flash cards that my mother used to teach me the English alphabet.

My mother made home conducive to learning English: all my storybooks and coloring books were in English, and so were the cartoons I watched and the music I listened to. She required me to speak English at home. She even hired tutors to help me learn to read and write in English.

In school I learned to think in English. We used English to learn about numbers, equations and variables. With it we learned about observation and inference, the moon and the stars, monsoons and photosynthesis. With it we learned about shapes and colors, about meter and rhythm. I learned about God in English, and I prayed to Him in English.

Filipino, on the other hand, was always the ‘other’ subject — almost a special subject like PE or Home Economics, except that it was graded the same way as Science, Math, Religion, and English. My classmates and I used to complain about Filipino all the time. Filipino was a chore, like washing the dishes; it was not the language of learning. It was the language we used to speak to the people who washed our dishes.

We used to think learning Filipino was important because it was practical: Filipino was the language of the world outside the classroom. It was the language of the streets: it was how you spoke to the tindera when you went to the tindahan, what you used to tell your katulong that you had an utos, and how you texted manong when you needed “sundo na.”

These skills were required to survive in the outside world, because we are forced to relate with the tinderas and the manongs and the katulongs of this world. If we wanted to communicate to these people — or otherwise avoid being mugged on the jeepney — we needed to learn Filipino.

That being said though, I was proud of my proficiency with the language. Filipino was the language I used to speak with my cousins and uncles and grandparents in the province, so I never had much trouble reciting.

It was the reading and writing that was tedious and difficult. I spoke Filipino, but only when I was in a different world like the streets or the province; it did not come naturally to me. English was more natural; I read, wrote and thought in English. And so, in much of the same way that I learned German later on, I learned Filipino in terms of English. In this way I survived Filipino in high school, albeit with too many sentences that had the preposition ‘ay.’

It was really only in university that I began to grasp Filipino in terms of language and not just dialect. Filipino was not merely a peculiar variety of language, derived and continuously borrowing from the English and Spanish alphabets; it was its own system, with its own grammar, semantics, sounds, even symbols.

But more significantly, it was its own way of reading, writing, and thinking. There are ideas and concepts unique to Filipino that can never be translated into another. Try translating bayanihan, tagay, kilig or diskarte.

Only recently have I begun to grasp Filipino as the language of identity: the language of emotion, experience, and even of learning. And with this comes the realization that I do, in fact, smell worse than a malansang isda. My own language is foreign to me: I speak, think, read and write primarily in English. To borrow the terminology of Fr. Bulatao, I am a split-level Filipino.

But perhaps this is not so bad in a society of rotten beef and stinking fish. For while Filipino may be the language of identity, it is the language of the streets. It might have the capacity to be the language of learning, but it is not the language of the learned.

It is neither the language of the classroom and the laboratory, nor the language of the boardroom, the court room, or the operating room. It is not the language of privilege. I may be disconnected from my being Filipino, but with a tongue of privilege I will always have my connections.

So I have my education to thank for making English my mother language.

***

The article has triggered hot discussion among Pinoy internet users such as on social networking sites (Twitter and Facebook).

Some have criticized the author for being reckless, arrogant and insulting.

I think the only objectionable thing that James Soriano said was that "Filipino is the language of the streets and not the language of the learned", but he actually made a point, a hurting truth about our education system.

Singer-songwriter Jim Paredes has also reacted on the issue. "No reason to hate James Soriano. He merely opened a topic that we either resonate with or not," he said on Twitter.

So, what are your thoughts on James Soriano's controversial article for Manila Bulletin? Share...share...share...

"Dad Gets Embarrassed, Enters Daughter's Room" - a Facebook scam

Probably you guys have encountered already on your Facebook news feed the interesting headline "Dad Gets Embarrassed, Enters Daughter's Room" with the description: Girl was on webcam with her BF, doing Stuff!

It goes with a link to a blogspot url and when you click it, you'll see a Youtube video screenshot with a warning that the video is for 18 and above only.

There's an age verification, asking you to confirm if you're already 18 by clicking "Jaa" twice. Clicking Jaa once will open a Facebook sharer pop-up and the second click will automatically post the link on your Facebook walls, the same link that you saw it the first time on your Facebook friend's walls.

That means, clicking the link will just make "Dad Gets Embarrassed, Enters Daughter's Room" go viral on Facebook.

According to Scribbal.com, it's a new Facebook scam which will require you first to answer a survey before you can watch the video, when in fact, you can't actually find a video of such on the Blogspot blog provided.

Shalani Soledad thankful for Yahoo! OMG! award

Shalani Soledad emerged as the top winner in the Yahoo! OMG! Philippines Awards 2011 which was held Tuesday night at the Republiq.

The beautiful Shalani Soledad won the award Yahoo! OMG! Celebrity of the Year for 2011 and according to the award description, it's given to most-searched celebrity on Yahoo! Philippines from January to May 2011.

Shalani, who's currently Willie Revillame's co-host on "Wil Time Bigtime", deserves the award as I've seen her many times as one of the Top Celebrity Searches on Yahoo! Philippines (ph.yahoo.com) this year.

On Twitter, Shalani is so much thankful for the award she received from Yahoo! Philippines.

You can check her Twitter profile now and you can see there that Shalani is flooding it with tweets of thanks to everyone who congratulated her for the award.

She was inactive on Twitter for 2 weeks, and it's only yesterday that she logged in there again just to say thanks for the award.

Shalani was also nominated in Yahoo! OMG! Awards 2011 Favorite Female TV Host alongside Toni Gonzaga, Alodia Gosiengfiao and Pia Guanio. Winner in the said category was selected based on popular votes and unfortunately, Shalani got the least number of votes. Toni won the award.

Favorite Female TV Host Poll Results:
1. Toni Gonzaga (21,528) 56%
2. Alodia Gosiengfiao (12,398) 32%
3. Pia Guanio (3,298) 9%
4. Shalani Soledad (1,152) 3%

Even Willie Revillame also lost in the Favorite Male TV Host category and also got the lowest votes:
1. Luis Manzano (35,074) 47%
2. Mo Twister (33,930) 45%
3. Vice Ganda (2,631) 4%
4. Vic Sotto (2,150) 3%
5. Willie Revillame (382) 1%

Just last March 2011, Shalani was also recognized by another search engine, Google Philippines, when she ranked #1 on its list of 20 Most Influential Women of 2010 (also based on search queries) placing higher than Kris Aquino who ranked 2nd.

Friendster Exporter App. extended until June 27

Friendster announced in April that it will have a grand make-over and advised its users to export their profile and photos until May 31.

A lot of Friendster users made a rush yesterday thinking it was already the last day of exporting their profile.

It's already June 1 and still we're seeing the same Friendster website, and that's because Friendster has extended its Exporter Application until June 27.

"The Exporter app will be available for an additional month, until June 27. If you need help on how to use the Exporter app, head over to the Friendster help page," says the Friendster Bulletin posted on Monday.

So if you haven't exported your profile and photos yet, you have 27 days more to do that.

When you start exporting your profile, you'll receive an e-mail notification which looks like this:

"Hurray! Your profile is ready for download!

Reminder: You now have full responsibility for this copy of your profile. We advise caution in saving, sending and uploading this file. Do not share to just anyone.
After 7 days, the download will no longer be available, but you can request a new one using the application.

Thank you for using Friendster!

Download Profile"

Who among you here has already exported his or her Friendster Profile? Was it hard? I actually find it hard to use the Exporter Application. I can't open the zip file provided by Friendster as I download my profile. Hope you guys won't experience the same.

Toffee Calma alleged webcam video scandal

Toffee Calma is allegedly the guy in a webcam video scandal which has been circulating online since April.

The webcam video scandal shows a fair-skinned, goodlooking guy who looks like Toffee Calma doing a private webcam show.

Manila Bulletin already reported Toffee Calma's alleged webcam video scandal last April 27, quoting a report from Tweetbiz Insiders, a showbiz news program on GMA News TV.

According to its report, the fully-naked guy in the webcam video scandal was possibly paid to do a private webcam show.

The alleged Toffee Calma video scandal has already made its way on Facebook (temporarily) and Mykiru was able to watch it there just last night. Here's a screenshot from the video:

Toffee Calma alleged video scandal

If in case you're still not familiar with Toffee Calma, he was a 90's sexy actor and then re-launched himself in recent years as an indie actor, appearing in at least 4 gay indie films.

On TV, Toffee appeared last year in ABS-CBN's "Magkaribal" where he portrayed a gay role, as one of the fashion assistants of Vera, played by Angel Aquino.

Friendster shutting down May 31? Export your Friendster Profile now!

Is Friendster shutting down?

Friendster, where most of us got hooked with before Facebook, will shut down by May 31.Friendster will undergo a major reformat!

The site Friendster.com will not actually shut down, but Friendster will shut down only as a social networking site, and will upgrade itself as a social entertainment site, which will focus more on fun games.

That's the best thing to do, especially that most of its registered users are no longer active and much more active in Facebook, a social networking site which was launched 2 years later than Friendster and is now the 2nd most visited site in the world.

Mykiru Isyusero also has a Friendster account, but the last time I updated it was more than 2 years ago, because I've been devoting more time on Facebook.

Most Filipinos actually are already members of Facebook, since it's the most-visited site in our country. According to Alexa Ranking, the Top 5 sites in the Philippines are: 1. Facebook 2. Yahoo! 3. Google.com.ph 4. Google.com 5. Youtube.

Friendster may not be ranking so high in the country (ranked 15th), but it still gets most visits from Filipino users. The Top 3 Friendster users are Indonesia and India and the Philippines.

Friendster's upgrading will bring out some changes, such as, deletion of your uploaded photos, your blogs, messages in your inbox, your friends' testimonials ("testi" for short) and shoutouts.

But they created an Exporter application in the site to back-up or transfer your Friendster files.

They promised though to keep your added friends and basic profile info.

An e-mail has already been sent out to all of its users, informing them of the upcoming changes on Friendster.

Here's the letter I received last Saturday, April 23:

Dear Mykiru,

We are introducing a new and improved Friendster site in the coming weeks. As part of this change, we will remove a number of social networking functions in Friendster. This includes your existing account profile, photos, messages, blogs, and shoutouts. However, your list of friends will be preserved, along with your basic profile information.

We understand that your photos, blogs and other private data may be important to you. An application is available in the "Apps" section of the site, until May 31st 2011, to help you download or export them securely to third party sites, such as Flickr or Multiply. The application is available here.

If you do not wish to keep any of these information, you do not need to do anything. Your Friendster account will not be deleted. Your Friendster Wallet, along with the coins and chips in it, will remain unchanged in the new site as long as you use your existing login details.

For more information on the Exporter app, please visit the Friendster Help page.

Thank you for using Friendster, we look forward taking you to a brand new Friendster experience very soon!

Export Your Profile Now

Sincerely,
The Friendster Team

The Friendster Export application will let you do these things: Download your profile and export your photos.

The profile info which will be downloaded includes your basic info (name, date of birth, gender, and 'About Me' info), photos, list of your friends or fans (for Fan Profiles), list of pages that you are 'a fan of', comments and testimonials, messages in your Inbox, shoutout history and comments to your shoutouts, virtual gifts, treasure chest and list of groups you are a member of.

While your photos will be exported either to Flickr, Photobucket or Multiply depending on your choice. All your albums, both public and private, can be exported.

'Kelly Agunaldo' creates buzz on Tumblr. Know the reason why...

Microblogging site Tumblr is abuzz with this certain 'Kelly Agunaldo'. (Yes, Agunaldo and not Aguinaldo)

But who the h-ll is this Kelly Agunaldo? Why are other Tumblr users so mad at her?

Read what's written on this picture to know the reason why...

Kelly Agunaldo

The picture above which has been blogged and reblogged on Tumblr is allegedly Kelly Agunaldo and was taken from her Tumblr account, kellyagunaldo.tumblr.com, which upon checking is no longer existing.

Her "racist" description under her profile picture is causing outrage
on Tumblr because she indicated those races who she doesn't want to
follow her Tumblr account.

She did mention Black people and the Asians, particularly the Filipinos and the Indians. She described them as ugly, smelly and people who sweat a lot.

"Kelly" also said she doesn't like gays to follow her there.

However, it's uncertain if Kelly Agunaldo does really exist, I
mean, if it's really a name of a real person. Is she really Latina or
she's just created by someone who just want to annoy Tumblr users?

It's also unsure if the picture above is the one who really owned that
Tumblr account.

Talking twin babies video on Youtube reaches 12 million views

The Youtube video of talking twin babies, Sam and Ren McEntee, continues to get more views since it was first uploaded in February 14 (Valentine's Day).

As of 12 noon today, the talking twin babies video now has more than 12 million views on Youtube.

I first heard of it on Bandila's newscast last Friday and anchor Julius Babao even imitated the twin babies by responding "tatatata" to co-anchor Ces Orena-Drilon.

Watch the funny video of the American twins talking to each other in a language that only them could understand:

The talking twin babies' video above is actually the part 2 video. The part 1 has lesser views, but it also reached millions, at almost 3 million hits as of this posting. Watch it.

The video was posted on Youtube by the twins' father Randy McEntee.

And just last Thursday, Sam and Ren already guested on the US show "Good Morning America".

April Fools' Day 2011 jokes from YouTube and Google

YouTube celebrates April Fools' Day, April 1, 2011, by coming up with this video of the Top 5 Viral Pictures exactly a hundred years ago, in 1911.

The video compilation makes everyone believe that it's YouTube's 100th Anniversary and the featured videos here were some of the most popular videos in 1911 (when in fact YouTube was founded only last 2005) .

Aside from YouTube, some other sites have also joined in playing pranks to their users this April Fools' Day 2011, such as the Google-owned Gmail, who brilliantly came up with a new feature, the Gmail Motion, where you can control Gmail with your body.

Watch the instructional video and follow what the guy is saying:

Willing Willie March 12 episode, Jan-Jan and Willie make headlines worldwide

Willing Willie's episode last March 12, which featured a sexy dance of an innocent 6-year-old boy, is now making global headlines after it has become a national controversy in the Philippines.

Several international news organizations have already reported about the said controversial episode in their respective web sites.

Here are some of them:

Daily Mail Online in UK: Tears of humiliation: Boy, 6, mocked by audience as he danced for cash on TV show

BusinessWeek in New York City: Philippine TV host sorry for 6-yr-old's sexy dance

7Days in U.A.E.: Striptease anger

Gulf Times in Qatar: Probe launched into child abuse accusation

METRO in the UK: Tearful boy, 6, 'traumatised' after being mocked on TV game show

For this issue to catch global attention, there must be something wrong with that Willing Willie episode.

I feel sad for Jan-Jan coz he might suffer trauma for the so-much media hype, not only in the Philippines but also in the world. He will grow up being haunted by this controversy.

Jackie Chan died of heart attack: 2011 Death Rumor

Jackie Chan, 56, allegedly died of heart attack Monday night, March 28, 2011.

That's according to a website which looks like Australia's Yahoo!7News (au.news.yahoo.com).

The website using the link url pastehtml.com claims that a Los Angeles hospital confirmed Jackie Chan's death after he suffered a heart attack while promoting new movie 'Kung Fu Panda 2'.

The sad news about this Chinese Hollywood superstar immediately circulated on social networking sites, such as on Twitter and the terms "RIP Jackie Chan" made it to top trending topics on Twitter.

The original tweet stating that Jackie Chan is dead generated more than 14,000 retweets.

But it turned out to be just another death hoax this 2011.

Jackie Chan's representative has already issued a statement both on Twitter and Facebook denying that he passed away. "Jackie Chan is alive and well. He did not suffer heart attack and die, as what was reported in many social networking sites and in online news reports. Jackie is fine and is busy preparing for the filming of his next movie."

I think the new movie that he's currently filming is "1911", which is said to be Jackie Chan's 100th movie and is due for release in September.

So, don't believe the rumor guys. And remember, the April Fool's Day is coming in 3 days, so this could be an early April Fool's joke.

Chris Brown exposed in leaked photos

Chris Brown has newly-leaked photos online, where he's shown fully-exposed, as in totally naked.

The photos first leaked on WorldStarHipHop.com stating that they were leaked by Chris Brown's ex-girlfriend.

The photos show a blonde and tattooed Chris Brown doing a self-shot in front of the mirror, fully naked exposing his impressive manhood.

And I must say, the controversial RnB singer is truly a "DAKOTA Fanning" and "LONG Mejia."

It's so unbelievably in perfection that some people believe it's just photoshopped. They say, the upper part of the photo is Chris' but the lower part is possibly owned by someone else and was just attached to his body.

I think it's really his 'coz Chris already had leaked pics in 2007, and he really got a huge possession.

Others also believe that Chris Brown's leaked photos were just a publicity for his F.A.M.E. which will be released on March 22.

Ayala Alabang trends worldwide on Twitter just because of 'condom'

Ayala Alabang made it to Twitter's Top 10 Trending Topics worldwide earlier this evening, due to the "condom with presciption" ordinance at Barangay Ayala Alabang in Muntinlupa City.

Ayala Alabang peaked at #9 on Twitter and browsing the tweets, a lot of people find the ordinance funny and stupid.

As reported on GMA's 24 Oras earlier, an ordinance was passed in Brgy. Ayala Alabang stating that pharmacies within the area should
ask for presciption before selling condom and contraceptive pills.

The ordinance took effect starting today, February 24.

According to the spokesperson from Barangay Ayala Alabang, the ordinance was made to prevent pre-marital s-x.

That means, physicians will be giving condom and pill prescriptions
only to married couples.

I find it as a useless ordinance because people would just go outside Barangay Ayala Alabang so they could buy condom even without
prescription.

It's kinda burdensome on the part of those who want to use it, to
consult first a physician and ask for a prescription.

In the end, couples would just end up doing their "private thing" without condom especially if they can't resist the urge.

Even international artist Lea Salonga disagrees with that "condom with
prescription" ordinance in Ayala Alabang. She says on Twitter, "You
now need a prescription to purchase condoms in Barangay Ayala, Alabang. The pill, I can totally understand, but CONDOMS??? Really???"

Mark Herras to speak up on Startalk about the alleged webcam video scandal

Mark Herras will speak up on Startalk this afternoon regarding the alleged webcam scandal photos which are going the rounds on the internet since Wednesday.

Is Mark Herras gonna admit on Startalk that he's the guy on the scandalous webcam photos? Or is he going to deny it?

It's highly possible that Mark is going to deny it.

And even before Mark breaks his silence on the issue, some online users have already been showing proofs that he is indeed the guy in the webcam photos.

The alleged webcam scandal

Allegedly, the lookalike and Mark Herras have exactly the same "balbas" and "bigote":

Same sando daw according to PEX user Mam Wilma... (not Wilma Galvante)

Another PEX user, TriciarELLAs, also makes a comparison of Mark's "pusod" and "puson" with that of the webcam guy...

as well as the same wall/background on the cam and a picture inside Mark's home...

A certain "Pandesal" at Pinoy Parazzi commented a link to this picture and he/she took notice of the same necklace...

Even a video about Mark's home posted on Youtube last year has been reposted on Facebook. Jham Santillan posted it on his Facebook wall and said, "watch the video and compare the ceiling, the walls, the edges of the frames, the electric fan, you be the judge on the video scandal..."

Wow, they're good investigators haha! You impressed me guys! Good job!

But of course, let's wait for Mark's reaction on this alleged webcam video scandal and whatever Mark will say on Startalk later, let's just all respect it.

Mark Herras alleged webcam scandal photos leaked!

Kapuso star Mark Herras is allegedly the guy in the webcam scandal photos circulating on the net recently.

Mark Herras alleged webcam scandal photos

As seen in the photo above which appears to be a screenshot from a webcam video, the Mark Herras lookalike was having a chat conversation with a "shirtless" dude.

It also appears that the alleged Mark Herras was also viewing his
chatmate's webcam.

And now the second photo is really scandalous one where the guy allegedly treated his chatmate with a "show" by exposing his rockin' hard manhood on webcam.

If the guy is indeed Mark Herras, then he must be proud and has nothing to be ashamed of. (He's gifted!)

But whether it's true or not, why is this happening? I mean, why is there a need to leak those pictures and link Mark Herras to that?

If you can see in the left bottom part of the the screenshot, it was taken last April 8, 2010 but it's only now, after 6 months, that it's being leaked online.

The said alleged scandal photos of Mark Herras are believed to have leaked first at a thread in PEX Forum Wednesday morning, October 6th.

And there's a big possibility that the chatmate who obviously took those screenshots is the one who leaked it online.

Who is the one behind this thing? Why is he doing it?

A closer look at the screencap, the chatmate of the alleged Mark Herras on Yahoo! Messenger was also having a private chat with three other guys on Facebook (two are confirmed gays and one of them is a professional photographer). I think we have to hunt those three and ask who they're chatting with that time.

It's possible that the chatmate was also sharing the screenshots to his Facebook friends while he's watching the alleged Mark Herras. Because, if you can notice, when the guy hasn't shown up his "thing", the chatmate hasn't opened his Facebook yet. But when the "show" was happening, the chatmate has already opened his Facebook and now chatting with one or two friends on Facebook.

PEX user phoenix_cutez30 was able to track the owner of the Facebook profile shown behind the webcam on the screenshot and allegedly it's Cosmo 2009 Bachelor Dheyle or Dale Dizon.

Upon checking Dizon's FB account, it's already unaccessible or no longer exists.

The fastest way to know if it's really Mark is to ask his ex-girlfriends, Jennylyn Mercado and Lian Paz. For sure, they can recognize if it's really Mark's.

Annabelle Rama scolds Ruffa Gutierrez on Twitter for promoting "Imortal"

Ruffa Gutierrez got scolded by her mom Annabelle Rama because of John
Lloyd Cruz.

Not that Ruffa is hooking up again with John Lloyd Cruz, but it's
because Ruffa has promoted John Lloyd's newest show "Imortal" which premiered last night.

Ruffa just actually re-tweeted her brother Raymond Gutierrez's tweet yesterday, inviting their followers to catch ABS-CBN's Imortal premiere after watching GMA 7's Survivor Philippines (hosted by their brother Richard). The tweet was: "RT @mondgutierrez After
#SurvivorPhilippines tonight, make sure to catch the premiere of
Imortal with @143redangel's (Angel Locsin) return to primetime!"

Though Imortal and Survivor Philippines are not direct rivals on primetime, it still didn't sound good to Mommy Annabelle. Also on
Twitter, she told Ruffa, "@iloveruffag day, i-promote mo na ang "survivor philippines" kesa sa show ng ex mo."

Ruffa responded in BOLD: "I ONLY TWEETED 2x coz of @143redangel." She defended herself further, "Ma I just returned the kindness of
@143redangel because she also promoted IN YOUR EYES &
#SurvivorPhilippines. Gooosshhh."

Now irritated, Mommy Annabelle answered back, "day, mainit ang ulo ko, wag mo na akong sagut-sagutin sa tweeter baka mas maluka ka."

Kaloka!!! I can feel the tension. For sure the Twitter exchange will
continue at home. We'll see what's gonna happen next!

Venus Raj "Major Major" answer in the Ms Universe 2010 Q&A Portion is trending on Twitter

Miss Universe 2010 4th Runner Up Maria Venus Raj has been trending for hours already on Twitter along with Miss Mexico Jimena Navarrete, the new Ms Universe titleholder.

But also trending is Venus Raj's "Major Major" answer during the Top 5 Q&A portion of the Miss Universe 2010 pageant.

"Major Major" has been trending there as some people making fun of Venus Raj's answer in the said pageant.

According to some, Venus made a major major mistake in answering the question: "What is one big mistake you've made and what did you do to make it right?" She could have been the Philippines' 3rd Miss Universe if she answered it right, they say.

Others suggest that Venus should have answered her mistake in not fixing the details on her birth certificate which brought major major problems to her.

Oh well, whatever they say, Venus Raj has definitely brought major major glory and pride to the Philippines 12 hours after the Manila hostage crisis that put the country into big shame.

It was just unfortunate that the 4 other ladies in Top 5 answered better but how do we know? 2 of them used translators and their answers sounded so good especially when translated.

And remember we were only hoping for a semifinal placement for Venus to end the 10-year drought of the Philippines in Miss Universe. Thus a 4th Runner Up honor is already a major major bonus. Let's just all be proud of her.

Venus meanwhile isn't affected with it. In a phone patch interview with GMA 7's 24 Oras, she just laughed at it and said, "O atleast di ba? 'Yung
major major ko nagbigay ng karangalan sa Pilipinas."

Relive Venus Raj's major major moment...

On CNN: Manila Vice Mayor Isko Moreno defends the Philippines

Former sexy actor and now Manila City Vice Mayor Isko Moreno was interviewed on CNN regarding the hostage crisis which happened earlier.

I wasn't able to watch it, but ABS-CBN reporter Niña Corpuz shared on Twitter an interesting post about the CNN interview with Isko Moreno.

Niña's tweet says: "CNN asked VM Isko Moreno what will he tell those who are now having 2nd thought of visiting the Philippines? Ans: This can happen anywhere in the world."

GMA News TV also on Twitter has a post related to that and Isko Moreno reportedly told CNN: "Generally speaking, I can honestly say, everyone is welcome in Manila, everyone is safe in Manila. This is an incident that could have happened anywhere in the world."

He also said that he's proud of how the Manila police handled the hostage crisis.

For some, VM Isko Moreno sounded like a beauty queen who failed in a Q&A portion while others defend him that he has no other intention but to defend the Philippines.

And just because of his statement on CNN, people have been talking about Isko Moreno that it made him one of the top trending topics on Twitter tonight.

Filipino-related terms are actually dominating Twitter right at this moment following the hostage drama. Six out of the 10 Trending Topics are about the Philippines: Quirino Grandstand, Isko Moreno, Rolando Mendoza, Venus Raj, Hostage Taker, Filipinos.
