Supreme to the Extreme Awards 2010 winners bared

The Philippine Star's Supreme to the Extreme Awards 2010 was successfully held last night, December 15, at the Opus bar in Resorts World Manila.

About 20 people were honored in the event which recognizes the movers and shakers in Pinoy Pop Culture.

Among the winners included Ely Buendia who bagged the Supremo Award (the highest honor), Anne Curtis receiving the Twitterati Award probably for having the highest number of Twitter followers among Filipino celebs, Gretchen Barretto as Icon of the Year and Solenn Heussaff as the Reality Show Breakthrough Artist of the Year.

The Magalona Family meanwhile succeeded the Gutierrez Family when they won the Supreme Dynasty Award.

Winners for the 24th PMPC Star Awards for TV (2010) announced | Dingdong Dantes, Gerald Anderson win acting honors

The Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) presented its 24th Star Awards for Television last night, November 13, 2010.

The star-studded event was held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila and was hosted by Miriam Quiambao, Angel Aquino & Ruffa Gutierrez.

It was one big night for ABS-CBN who picked up 29 trophies whereas other awards were distributed as follows: GMA - 15, Q11 - 3, UNTV - 3, TV5 - 2, Net25 - 2 & Studio 23 - 1.

Picking up their first ever acting awards were Dingdong Dantes (Best Drama Actor) and Gerald Anderson (Best Single Performance by an Actor).

Dingdong was able to beat previous years' Best Drama Actor winners Coco Martin, Jericho Rosales, John Estrada and Piolo Pascual, and even Sid Lucero (who's nominated in the 2010 International Emmys on Nov. 22).

Gretchen Barretto meanwhile has won Best Single Performance by an Actress for the 2nd consecutive year.

Claudine Barretto - Angelica Panganiban alleged Twitter War

Was Angelica Panganiban really the subject of Claudine Barretto's angry Twitter posts like August 4, 2010?

If you're going to look back at the Twitter posts of Claudine and Angelica, it's very unclear that there's a rift going on between the two.

On July 24, Claudine attached this picture on her tweet to Angelica: "I luv you baby sis ko! Miss you super!"

Angelica, on one hand, responded by recalling the characters they portrayed in ABS-CBN's "Iisa Pa Lamang", "tama!!! Scarlet and Katherine :)"

According to Claudine, it was taken at the house of their friend Martin Castro. And Angelica's boyfriend Derek Ramsay was also with them. During that time also, Angelica hasn't made "peace" yet with Claudine's sister Gretchen Barretto.

So it's contrary to the reports that Claudine and Angelica had a heated argument at Martin Castro's birthday party, because Claudine was still able to tweet that after the party.

Claudine also tweeted, "@IamAngelicaP baby sis! I super miss you, hope all is well with you! You know that I love you so much di ba?"

It turned out though that it will be the last "tweet exchange" between Claudine and Angelica.

Then on August 4, Claudine made her Twitter followers wonder with her numerous angry messages to an unidentified person. Read on...

"Tweethearts ano ba dapat gawin sa traydor na kaibigan na walang magawa sa buhay kundi siraan ako, asawa ko, kaibigan ko at pangalan ko ng mga anak ko!!! Don't mess with my family ang stand ko!"

"isang daga na tago ng tago!!! Mahahahanap rin kita promise!!! Sana di mangyari sa 'yo to if pakakasalan ka??!"

"if you're not guilty haharap ka diba????? Eh nagtatago. Cge ill pray or reflect after KARMA. Hahabulin ko nun."

"Lord pls sana tonight na dalawin siya ng konsensya at karma!!!"

"you're not worth it girl! I keep praying for your soul, napakasama ng ginagawa mo!!!"

"sana di ka pa nalulunod sa success, sana ma-remember mo yung magagandang bagay na ginawa namin ng family ko for you. Sana."

"'di pa tapos to. You cannot forever hide. God knows and sees your heart 'n soul."

"if you're not guilty or you really know me why didn't you face me?"

"Respect? San part mo ako nirespeto?"

Way too long.

It's indeed not clear if it's Angelica or not. When you read Angelica's tweet the same day, there was no sign that she was fighting with someone else.

But Claudine gave out a clue the same day as to whom she's addressing her tweets: "Itago na lang natin siya sa pangalang --------!!!!"

It's an 8-letter name and incidentally, Angelica has 8 letters.

On August 8, four days after those tweets by Claudine, Angelica apologized to Gretchen Barretto on The Buzz over what she said to the latter back in June.

In a recent interview, Claudine opted not to reveal the name of the girl she's at war with. When asked if it was Angelica, she neither confirmed nor denied.

Bianca Gonzales, new host of SNN | And it's not Gretchen Barretto

Yesterday, on The Buzz, Boy Abunda said, "Abangan po natin si Gretchen
Barretto gabi-gabi sa SNN."

And so I thought Gretchen Barretto will be the one replacing Kris Aquino. That's why, I made a post about it yesterday.

But it's now being talked about on Twitter that Bianca Gonzales is the
new host of SNN and not Gretchen Barretto. According to PEP's
@scoopbox, it was confirmed by Mariel Rodriguez herself.

Though it's better to hear that Bianca is the new host of SNN, I hate
it how they're creating excitement on that thing. They also did it
before on The Buzz when KC Concepcion was about to be launched as new
host. They even used Vice Ganda just to excite the viewers.

Does it mean Boy Abunda has misled the viewers? In a way YES, 'coz the fact is, Gretchen will be featured in the show as SNN has a special interview with her and it will be chopped in 5 days.

Gretchen Barretto is the new SNN host replacing Kris Aquino

Tomorrow, Monday, is Gretchen Barretto's Day!

Her first ever teleserye "Magkaribal" will have its pilot on ABS-CBN's Primetime Bida. Then later that night, she will start hosting SNN as replacement for Kris Aquino who left the show last Friday.

With that, I think I'm more excited to see Gretchen on SNN tom than in Magkaribal because hosting a show like SNN is something she never did before.

Is Gretchen fit for SNN? We will see.

Magkaribal also stars Bea Alonzo, Derek Ramsay, Enchong Dee, Erich Gonzales and Angel Aquino.

Gretchen Barretto finds Derek Ramsay yummy

Gretchen Barretto could not hide her admiration to Angelica Panganiban's boyfriend Derek Ramsay when they met for the first time at the Star Magic Ball last Sunday.

La Greta was obviously so mesmerized with Derek and her facial expression was like she haven't s*xed up for a year or two.

Well, it's not a surprise though because Derek is so much hotter than Gretchen's partner Tony Boy Cojuangco.

"Yummy!" is the term used by Gretchen to describe Derek.

At one point, she was seen posing for a photo at the back of Derek, while the latter was being interviewed by a reporter.

So, from there, Gretchen herself revealed that she wants Derek as his leading man in her teleserye with sister Claudine Barretto.

King of Drama Christopher De Leon will also be part of the said show.

Derek again?

I've made this post before that Derek is overly blessed because of having so many projects and being paired with different leading ladies.

There he is again, striking another gold (if Gretchen's wish will be granted).

Derek recently appeared in a movie (And I Love You So), in a weekly show (Maruja), a daily primetime soap (The Wedding) which is about to end on Friday and an afternoon series (Ang Lalaking Nagmahal Sa Akin) which made its debut yesterday.

Not anymore.

Gretchen has just finished shooting for the music video of "Ready To Take A Chance Again", one of the singles from Complicated, her 2nd album from Star Records.

In the said video, Gretchen has lived up to her "sexy" image and got so intimate with a gorgeous hunk.

The guy's name is Kurt Dreo (formely Sassan Shokouhi) who was one of the Cosmo Bachelors 2007.
