The AFF Suzuki Cup 2010 Finals is going to be between Team Malaysia and Team Indonesia (Garudas) after the latter won tonight its semi-final game, 1-0, against the Philippine Azkals.
As shown on Studio 23, the 2nd leg of the semi-final game of Garudas vs the Azkals was again held at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta, Indonesia before a
70,000 Indonesian crowd.
And just like last Thursday, the Indonesian President was watching again live at the venue. He's not a busy President, isn't he?
Cristian Gonzales of Indonesia once again scored that only goal in the game, which puts Indonesia in the finals of AFF Suzuki Cup 2010 happening after Christmas.
Here's a video of Gonzales' amazing goal:
The Garudas generally did a good job except for the "drama"! Their goalkeeper (Markus) fell twice, acting like he was hurt so badly by a Filipino player.
I pity the Filipino players, most especially to Phil Younghusband (who has a flu but he still played and tried his best), who received lots of boos from the Indonesian crowd.
It was also not so obvious that the referees were too biased to Team Indonesia.
Worst of all, some Indonesian fans were reportedly seen giving a middle finger to the Filipino players during their bus ride to the stadium.
Now, between Malaysia and Indonesia, I definitely like Malaysia to win AFF Suzuki Cup 2010.
The Azkals may have lost the chance to break in to the finals, but still, they've won the hearts of many Filipinos and even football fans in the world.
They're supposed to be the weakest team in the tournament, but they ended up in the semi-finals. That's pretty something!
Now moving on, let's all look forward to the 2012 AFF Suzuki Cup, which will be hosted by the Philippines.
By that time, we already have the world-class stadium and finally, we get to cheer out so load for the Philippine team.
Billionaire boxer Manny Pacquiao I think MUST donate a stadium for them, what do you think?
