While everyone in Asia is busy for the New Year's Eve celebration, the
Miss Tourism International 2010 / 2011 finals was being held in Petaling Jaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia last night, December 31.
Fifty-five (55) candidates competed in the pageant and crowned winner
was Miss Netherlands Nathalie Den Dekker, who was also awarded Miss KL
Sogo Trendsetter.
Nathalie is a 21-year-old model, who was a Cum Laude graduate from college. She's now taking up Masters of Law in a university in the
Netherlands.
She already competed in the 2010 Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International held in China last September where she placed in the Top 20.

I would like to congratulate the new organizers of Mutya ng Pilipinas for producing winners such as Barbie Salvador and Ashley McGarry who both triumphed in international pageants. Last November, McGarry was a Top 15 semi-finalist in the Miss Intercontinental 2010 pageant.
