The awarding ceremonies for the 15th Asian Television Awards was held last night, December 9, 2010, at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Singapore.
There were around 200 nominees but only 37 of them were named winners and about 40 were highly commended.
Most of the winners came from Singapore, India, Hong Kong and Korea.
The Philippines had 7 nominations, and unfortunately it won nothing but a "Highly Commended" award for 24 Oras as Best News Program.
GMA 7 owned 6 of the 7 nods, namely Best News Program (24 Oras), Best Current Afairs Program (Reporter's Notebook), Best Natural or Wildlife Program (Planet Philippines), Best Comedy Program (Bubble Gang), Best Comedy Actor (Michael V) and Best Drama Actor (Dingdong Dantes) while ABS-CBN had a single nomination for "Dahil May Isang Ikaw" as Best Drama Series.
