Chris Brown crying at BET Awards 2010 | Michael Jackson Tribute

Chris Brown Crying Michael Jackson PerformanceChris Brown was crying as he was delivering an intense and heartfelt performance at the 2010 BET Awards held earlier.

It was a tribute to the King of Pop Michael Jackson, as BET's own way of commemorating MJ's 1st Death Anniversary.

Chris got emotional with his performance of Michael Jackson's "Man in the Mirror" and he cried, receiving much applause from the audience.

Gretchen Barretto is the new SNN host replacing Kris Aquino

Tomorrow, Monday, is Gretchen Barretto's Day!

Her first ever teleserye "Magkaribal" will have its pilot on ABS-CBN's Primetime Bida. Then later that night, she will start hosting SNN as replacement for Kris Aquino who left the show last Friday.

With that, I think I'm more excited to see Gretchen on SNN tom than in Magkaribal because hosting a show like SNN is something she never did before.

Is Gretchen fit for SNN? We will see.

Magkaribal also stars Bea Alonzo, Derek Ramsay, Enchong Dee, Erich Gonzales and Angel Aquino.

Kris Aquino, James Reid, Christian Bautista ruled Twitter Sunday

Kris Aquino, James Reid and Christian Bautista have ruled Twitter today (June 27, 2010) when they topped the site's list of Trending Topics.

First to trend was James Reid, right after his first ever sitdown interview on The Buzz. The 17-year-old Filipino-Australian hottie has just won Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Teen Clash 2010 last night.

James peaked on Twitter Trends at #2 behind "Edward Scissorhands". Even some Justin Bieber fans in the site were curious who James Reid is, especially with her foreign, Hollywood-sounding name. They've been asking who he is.

And after seeing a photo of James, a non-Filipino fan of Bieber commented on Twitter: "He's cute!"

Then a few minutes later, James was joined by Kris Aquino in the trending topics after she revealed also on The Buzz that she already gave up her marriage to James (not Reid) but James Yap.

Kris Aquino also revealed that she's already considering an annulment of her 3-year marriage with James, whom she has a son.

It was also her last day on The Buzz because she will face a new phase in her life, as sister to President-elect Noynoy Aquino.

Kris Aquino zoomed in to #1 spot on Twitter and remained unchanged for 4 hours. But what was more amazing is that, Kris also made it to the Top 20 of Google Search Trends worldwide during the same day. She was 13th.

Then later in the evening, Christian Bautista has also trended on Twitter (for the 2nd consecutive night.) He was in 5th, while Kris was on top and James Reid at 9th, until Christian was the only one left by 11PM.

Thanks to his Indonesian fans. They've been responsible for putting Christian in the Trending list for 4 times already.

Last night, he was #1 Trending Topic after he sat as a guest judge on Indonesia Mencari Bakat (IMB) or Indonesia's Got Talent.

World Cup 2010 Quarter-Finals | Teams who advanced to Stage 3

I feel sad that South Korea was eliminated yesterday and will no longer enter the World Cup 2010 Quarter-Finals.

But for a country who only ranks 47th in the FIFA World Cup, being part of the Round of 16 this 2010 was already a great achievement for South Korea.

Here are the teams who advanced to the FIFA World Cup 2010 Quarter-Finals:

1. Uruguay (World Ranking: #16)
2. Ghana (WR: #32)
3. Argentina (WR: #7)
4. Germany (WR: #6)
5. Paraguay (WR: #31)
6. Netherlands (WR: #4)
7. Brazil (WR: #1)
8. Spain (WR: #2)

ELIMINATED:
USA (WR: #14)
Korea Republic (WR: #47
Mexico (WR: #17)

James Reid, PBB Teen Clash of 2010 Big Winner

Fil-Australian housemate James Reid has triumphed as the Big Winner during the PBB Teen Clash Big Night held earlier.

James had a total online and text votes of 179,294 or 19.75%, winning P1,000,000 cash, a condo unit, Sony Vaio laptop, 46-inch Sony Bravia LCD TV, a business franchise and an Asian trip for two.

He prevented Ryan Bang to be the first ever non-Filipino winner of PBB. Though half-Filipino, James is the first ever PBB winner who doesn't speak fluent Tagalog or any Filipino dialect.

Baby James to his fellow housemates, he's considered among the nicest and well-liked housemates this season, not to mention being the cutest housemate of PBB Teen Clash 2010.

I said before that James was admirable for not expecting himself to be in the Big 6 and even as the Big Winner. He felt that the other housemates were more deserving than him. His humility added to his lovable personality have put him to where he is now, the newest Big winner of Pinoy Big Brother.

While inside the house, fans have paired James to 4 housemates, coining names like: Trimes, Jamli, Jevon and even Brames.

James held the record this season for getting the highest percentage ever, during the 6th Eviction when he got 68.86%.

***

It was actually a close fight, as any of the Big 6 could end up as big winner. Here's the official and final vote results:
1. James 179,294 19.75%
2. Ryan 169,797 18.70%
3. Fretzie 145,176 15.99%
4. Devon 142,876 15.74%
5. Ivan 137,4027 15.14%
6. Bret 133,239 14.68%

Notice that the total votes combined didn't even reach a million. Does it show that PBB Teen Clash 2010 was the least followed Teen Edition ever?

Here's the voting during Teen Edition 1 & 2 and the total votes were both more than 1.5 million even if there were only Big 4:

Teen Edition 1:
1. Kim 626,562 41.4%
2. Mikee 313,032 20.7%
3. Gerald 293,234 19.4%
4. Claire 279,390 18.5%

Teen Edition Plus:
1. Ejay 620,934 36.31%
2. Robi 588,166 34.39%
3. Nicole 314,582 18.39%
4. Beauty 186,523 10.91%
