World Cup star Paul, the Psychic Octopus dies

Paul, the psychic octopus has died today, October 26, in his aquarium in Germany.

The manager of Oberhausen Sea Life Centre which housed Paul The Octopus has told Daily Mail Online that the psychic octopus was found dead this early morning. Cause of death is unknown but the manager believes that he had a natural death.

Paul The Octopus only lived for more than 2 years and for an octopus, they say, it's already a normal lifespan.

People from the Sea Life Centre are going to bury Paul within their grounds and a memorial shrine is being planned for him, Daily Mail reports.

For the football fans, Paul was the real star during the World Cup 2010 last July when he correctly predicted all of Germany's matches including its defeat to Spain in the semi-finals.

If you remember, Germans wanted Paul to die that time after he chose Spain to win over his homeland. But the Spanish people have adored him since then and even after the finals when he predicted Spain to emerge as champion over the Netherlands.

As it turned out, it was already Paul's last prediction and the next World Cup definitely won't be as exciting as the recent World Cup.

Wayne Rooney - Jennifer "Juicy Jeni" Thompson Scandal in England

Wayne Rooney, a well-known footballer in England, is facing a major major scandal in his country because of an alleged affair with a prostitute nicknamed Juci Jeni.

Wayne Rooney Juicy Jeni scandal

Wayne, who's only turning 25 next month, is a player for the Manchester United and he recently played at the FIFA World Cup 2010 where England finished only in the quarterfinals.

And just yesterday, a 21-year-old prostitute named Jennifer "Juicy Jeni" Thompson divulged to News of the World newspaper that she and Wayne allegedly had an affair for 4 months and during those times, they had s*x 7 times with Rooney paying her £200/hour. (That's P14,000. Wow ang mahal!)

It isn't surprising as it seems, but the major problem is, Wayne is
married for 2 years with a 1-year-old kid and the alleged cheating happened when Wayne's wife Coleen was pregnant.

Juicy Jeni further claimed that she and Wayne once did "it" in their
family home while Coleen wasn't around. She also alleged having a
3some with Wayne.

This Wayne Rooney scandal thing is a major issue in England now
because football players are regarded like heroes and earning admirations from many people.

Though it's still alleged, this is already the 2nd Wayne Rooney scandal with a prostitute. The first was with a 48-year-old prostitute grandmother but it happened when he was 16 years old but he was already boyfriend to Coleen.

Video: Spain's Iker Casillas kisses reporter girlfriend Sara Carbonero live on TV in celebration of their World Cup 2010 victory

Overjoyed Spanish hottie goalkeeper Iker Casillas treated her reporter girlfriend with a passionate kiss in celebration of Spain's World Cup 2010 victory.

And it happened live on TV. How sweet!

Iker Casillas' girlfriend named Sara Carbonero, who's a TV reporter, was interviewing her own boyfriend when the passionate and sweet kiss happened.

Carbonero is also the same girlfriend who was blamed by the press when Spain lost to Switzerland during the Group Stage in the World Cup for the simple reason that she allegedly distracted Casillas.

But now, for sure Carbonero won't be blamed anymore as reportedly she gave a long goodluck kiss to Casillas before the championship game. That probably explains why they're also sealing the celebration with a kiss.

Watch the kissing video of Iker Casillas and Sara Carbonero:

Because of that kiss, Iker Casillas is on top of Twitter's Trending List for almost 24 hours already.

In the World Cup, Casillas was awarded with the adidas Golden Glove award, as the Best Goalkeeper in the football tournament.

He was also among Mykiru's World Cup 2010 Hotties.

World Cup 2010 Championship Game Video

Watch the Youtube video of how Spain's Andres Iniesta, in No. 6 jersey shirt, managed to score a goal during the FIFA World Cup 2010 Championship game last Sunday, July 11, 2010, in South Africa.

That was the only goal in the World Cup 2010 Championship Game leading to Spain's victory over the Netherlands.

As witnessed by many spectators in the game, Iniesta took off his Number 6 jersey shirt and revealed a message on his under-clothing which says, "Dani Jarque siempre con nosotros." In English, "Dani Jarque always with us".

Dani Jarque was a defender and team captain of Spain's football team who died of heart attack at a young age of 26 in August of 2009.

Who won the World Cup 2010? It's Spain! Viva España!

If in case you missed watching the FIFA World Cup 2010 Final Match yesterday, the winner was Spain, beating the Netherlands, held in Johannesburg Stadium, South Africa.

In Spanish, "España campeon de la Copa Mundial 2010".

The final score was 1-0 and Spain must really thank its player Andres Iniesta for scoring that one important goal.

And that one goal by Iniesta has brought one historic win for Spain because it's their first ever FIFA World Cup Championship title.

It was also Spain's first time to play in a World Cup finals.

60 years ago, back in 1950, Spain finished 4th and it was their highest ever placement in the FIFA World Cup, but not anymore this 2010.

The victory of Spain also confirmed Paul The Octopus' prediction. It's amazing that Paul was 100% correct in all of his 8 predictions.

Golden Ball & Golden Boot 2010 winners | FIFA World Cup 2010 Awards

Aside from who will emerge as FIFA World Cup 2010 Champion, people are also excited to know who will be the winners of the adidas Golden Ball
and adidas Golden Boot awards.

The Golden Ball is awarded to the Best Player of FIFA World Cup 2010. Ten (10) players have been announced as nominees last Friday as screened by the FIFA Technical Committee.

Three are from Spain (David Villa, Xavi, Andres Iniesta), 2 from the Netherlands (Wesley Sneijder, Arjen Robben), also 2 from Germany (Bastian Schweinsteiger, Mesut Ozil) and 1 each for Uruguay (Diego Forlan), Ghana (Asamoah Gyan) and Argentina (Lionel Messi).

The Golden Boot 2010 (Golden Shoe) winner will be given to the top goal scorer of this year's World Cup. The four contenders with 5 goals each are Thomas Mueller (Germany), David Villa (Spain), Wesley
Sneijder (Netherlands) and Diego Forlan (Uruguay).

And since there's one more game left between Spain and the Netherlands, it's most likely that the Golden Boot 2010 winner will be Villa or Sneijder.

My picks for these 2 awards? Diego Forlan for the Golden Ball and Wesley Sneijder for the Golden Boot.

Other awards to be given out after the finals are Best Goalkeeper, Young Player, FIFA Fair Play and Most Entertaining Team.

World Cup 3rd Place Play Off Ger vs Uru: Germany wins

Germany (Alemania) has claimed the third (3rd) place of FIFA World Cup 2010 tournament, after it beat Urugay during the 3rd place play off yesterday, July 10th.

The final scores were 3-2 and named Man of the Match was Thomas Mueller from Germany.

It's the 2nd successive 3rd placement for Germany. In FIFA 2006, they also placed 3rd. All in all, they won that place 4 times already.

The German victory also elevated Paul The Octopus' status once more. The psychic octopus from Germany predicted last Friday that his
country will beat Uruguay and it did happen.

Paul's score is now 7 out 7, a perfect record. For tonight, Paul has picked Spain as the World Cup 2010 Champion.

Introducing Pauline the Octopus | Netherland's Psychic Octopus predicts a Dutch victory

Attention Paul and Mani, someone's challenging you.

Riding on the instant popularity of Paul The Octopus, Netherlands has its own Psychic Octopus and it's a girl.

So she has been named Pauline, obviously derived from Germany's Paul The Octopus.

According to the reports from Times Live (South Africa) and Associated Foreign Press (AFP), Pauline The Octopus has made a hometown decision, meaning it predicted a Dutch victory tomorrow, July 11.

Watch a Youtube video of Pauline:

It's opposed to Paul's prediction that Spain will win but it sided with Mani The Parakeet who also chose the Netherlands.

That just means there are two psychic animals rooting for the Netherlands and only one for Spain.

Spain vs Netherlands: Paul The Psychic Octopus Finals Prediction

It's now in the worldwide news that Germany's Paul, the Psychic Octopus, has predicted Spain to win over the Netherlands in the FIFA World Cup 2010.

Paul made the predictions just an hour ago and it was shown live on German National TV.

It was also televised live in Spain.

For sure, Paul's prediction adds confidence to Team Spain who's playing in the World Cup finals for the first time. But of course, it adds pressure to the Netherlands to play their best on Sunday and prove Paul wrong.

Before Paul predicted Spain's victory over the Netherlands, he already picked between Germany and Uruguay as to who will win in their match for the 3rd place this Saturday.

Paul predicted Germany to win over Uruguay, but is it enough to please the German soccer fans who are hating him a lot?

But the Spanish fans are loving him a lot especially after now that Spain is Paul's choice to win World Cup 2010.

An article at Times Live (South Africa) says that Spanish Minister Miguel Sebastian is interested in transfering Pulpo Paul to Spain to protect him.

Psychic Paul's latest prediction is in contrary to Mani The Parakeet, who predicted Netherlands to win over Spain.

Two things are sure now: one of them will suffer for a wrong prediction while the other will continue to enjoy celebrity status.

Holland is FIFA World Cup 2010 Winner - Psychic Mani's Final Forecast

Mani, The Psychic Parakeet Parrot from Singapore, has made a new forecast for the FIFA World Cup 2010 Finals.

This time, Psychic Mani has predicted Holland or the Netherlands to emerge as winner over Spain (España).

It's contrary to its previous prediction that Spain will be World Cup 2010 winner, but only if it was between Spain and Uruguay.

And since Mani was wrong when it predicted a Uruguay-Spain clash in the finals, it had to pick again now between Netherlands or Spain, choosing the Netherlands as champion.

Mani so far has 5 correct out of its 6 predictions. That's 83.33%. And if he guesses it right again, it will be 85.71%. But if he's wrong again, the accuracy rate will be 71.42%, which is below passing rate and that means, he should stop making predictions already.

Watch a video report about it:

It is already the 3rd time that Holland will be playing in a World Cup Finals. The 1st and 2nd time were in 1974 and 1978 but it only finished as runner-up in both years. In 1998, Holland placed 4th.

While Spain is enjoying its historic moment of being in the World Cup finals for the very first time. The highest achievement by Spain in World Cup was 60 years ago, when it placed 4th in 1950.

Now, who would you like to win this year's World Cup?

Paul The Octopus rumored dead

Just like any other celebrities, Paul, the famous Octopus in Germany, is now being rumored as dead.

Oh well, no news could confirm that he has died, but Paul has actually been receiving death threats after he predicted Spain to emerge as winner in its semifinal match with Germany and much more now that Germany has exited in the World Cup 2010.

Some people from Germany have been hating him a lot, and wants to kill him, put in a pan and then fry.

Even before the Germans want Paul to vanish, the Argentine people already wanted to make him into a "paella" and eat him after he predicted Argentina losing to Germany during the World Cup 2010 Quarter Finals.

If Germans and the Argentins hate Paul, the Spanish people love him for his predictions.

Proof to that is how "Pulpo Paul" is dominating Trending Topics on Twitter. "Pulpo" is a Spanish term for Octopus and obviously, people from Spain have been talking about him and he's currently on top of the Top 10 Trends on the site.
