In her previous ad for Century Tuna, Angel Locsin was with hunk actor Derek Ramsay, and this time, she's with rumored boyfriend Phil Younghusband of the Azkals.

Temptation Island: The Goddesses of Beauty talk about their roles in the movie

"The Goddesses of Beauty" Lovi Poe, Solenn Heussaff, Heart Evangelista, Rufa Mae Quinto and Marian Rivera talk about their roles, their favorite scenes and lines in their upcoming movie "Temptation Island".

In the film, Lovi plays Serafina (the brat), Solenn is Pura (the social climber), Heart portrays Virginia (the virgin), Rufa Mae as Nympha (the maid) and Marian is Christina (the crook).

Also starring are Aljur Abrenica, Tom Rodriguez, John Lapus and introducing Mikael Daez, with the special participation of Dennis Trillo.

Written and directed by Chris Martinez, "Temptation Island" will hit theaters on July 6, 2011.

Regal Films has released the first trailer of "Temptation Island" 2011 remake.

Marian Rivera gets the most daring role in 'Temptation Island'

Marian Rivera, Heart Evangelista, Lovi Poe and Solenn Heussaff lead the cast of "Temptation Island" which will start shooting this month, April 2011.

And Marian reportedly has the most daring role of all, a role which was originally portrayed by Azenith Briones in the 80's version of the film.

When asked about it yesterday on Showbiz Central, Marian said it will be her first time to play such kind of role. "Talagang na-cha-challenge ako na gawin ito, kasi for the first time ko lang gagawin itong character na ito. Pero at least nakausap ko naman si Direk na gagawin ko sya na hindi naman as Azenith, hindi naman ibig sabihin na sobrang kokopyahin ko sya, gagawin ko pa rin as Marian pa rin."

Panagbenga Festival or Baguio Flower Festival 2011: Kapamilya and Kapuso mall shows back-to-back this weekend

Kapamilya stars graced Panagbenga Festival 2011 or Baguio's Flower Festival yesterday afternoon, February 26, via a mall show at SM Baguio.

The Kapamilya Caravan at the Panagbenga Festival featured "Sabel" stars Jessy Mendiola, Joseph Marco and Diether Ocampo as well as Melissa Ricks and Matt Evans, stars of the upcoming ABS-CBN soap "Nasaan Ka Elisa?"

And for today, Feb. 27, it's Kapuso stars' turn to celebrate with the
people in Baguio.

"Machete" stars Aljur Abrenica, Ryza Cenon and Bela Padilla and the cast of "Nita Negrita" Barbie Forteza, Joshua Dionisio and Lexi Fernandez will be in SM Baguio at 4 PM for the Kapuso Caravan.

SM Baguio is definitely the most crowded place there lately due to the
presence of some celebs. Last Friday, the Azkals were also at SM Baguio for their meet-and-greet with the fans, and yesterday, people
were delighted to see the team having their lunch there.

The Panagbenga Festival 2011 opened last February 1 and officially ends on March 6.

Two of its highlights are the Grand Street Parade which already
happened yesterday and the Grand Floats Parade which is happening today.

Aljur Abrenica starrer 'Machete' is the name of a new gay bar in Manila

Aljur Abrenica-starring soap "Machete" is also the name of a newly-opened gay entertainment bar in Pasay City, Metro Manila.

Not exactly the same name as Aljur's show, 'coz the gay bar's name is spelled as Machette, with a double T (as in t-t). But still, it sounds alike and obviously was derived from Aljur's title role.

Machette Entertainment Bar opened last January 21, just 3 days before
"Machete" premiered on GMA 7 last Jan. 24.

According to its website (machettebar.com), where the above logo came from, everyone's welcome there, not only the gay customers, to enjoy a night of comedy, macho dancers, cool drinks and great music.

Makapunta nga...to see if they have Aljur Abrenica-type of men there. :-P

Speaking of Machete, the show, I've heard it's wrapping up already in March, 2 months after its premiere. How true?

Well, if it's true, then probably it's because of a not so high performance in the ratings.

This February 2011, Aljur goes wet again this time, not on the ramp, but on the cover of Men's Health Philippines. And I'm also loving it!

Aljur, who currently sizzles on TV as the new Machete, reveals inside the mag how he achieved such Machete bod. So shall we expect Aljur's gym workout photos in the magazine?

Ara Mina allegedly devirginized Aljur Abrenica when he was 17

Ara Mina is being suspected to have devirginized "Machete" lead star Aljur Abrenica. Gosshhh!

According to rumors, 31-year-old Ara Mina is allegedly the older woman being referred to by 20-year-old Aljur in his recent interviews as the one who devirginized him when he was 17.

It's believable 'coz Ara and Aljur worked together in the GMA 7's afternoon soap "Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin?" where the two even had an intense love scene.

So that could mean, they had a rehearsal of it off-cam.

But if Aljur revealed in an interview that he was 17 when he lost his innocence, and therefore, it's not with Ara Mina. Why?

It's because Aljur was already 19 when he did the soap with Ara.

On Twitter last Thursday, January 2007, Ara just laughed off the issue and denied she's the older woman being referred to. Twitter user @johnlee_07 asked Ara Mina (@realAraMina), "may katotohanan ba? bat nadrarag ka sa isyung aljur and older woman? ano ba talaga?”. Ara replied, "OPO NADRAG MY NAME PERO DI PO AKO YON."

The last time Aljur admitted he's still a virgin was in September 2007 during the presscon for GMA's primetime series "Zaido: Pulis Pangkalawakan" and Aljur turned 18 in March 24, 2008.

Therefore, we can conclude that Aljur lost his virginity between September 2007 and March 2008.

Just think of one of the girls he hooked up during that period and you'll have the answer.

"Machete" hits high pilot ratings in Mega Manila

"Machete" had a successful pilot episode on GMA 7 last Monday, January
24, 2011, when it scored the second highest primetime ratings in Mega
Manila for that day.

Based on the numbers released by AGB Nielsen, "Machete" which stars Aljur Abrenica in the title role premiered with 12.8% beating ABS-CBN's Mara Clara which had 11% rating.

The pilot rating ranked 2nd over-all just behind "Dwarfina".

ABS-CBN still has "Imortal" as its strongest show, winning its timeslot and ranking 3rd over-all last Monday.

But the Kapamilya Network scored a very low rating for "Noah" whose rating didn't even land on the Top 10.

It's good though that they're gonna axe the program already in
February. Finally! (after almost 7 months)

That probably explains why ABS-CBN is already introducing a new TV series this Monday, January 31, (earlier than planned) hoping to duplicate the success of "Agua Bendita" which ruled primetime in 2010.

Bela Padilla plays two daring roles in "Machete"

Bela Padilla welcomes 2011 with a bang as she plays Aljur Abrenica's
leading lady in "Machete".

Bela had a stormy 2010, being linked to Dingdong Dantes and caught up in a fight with Marian Rivera, but blessings actually keep pouring for
her after that.

Initially tapped to be part of the 2011 remake of "Captain Barbell", Bela had to be pulled out from the show, not for any controversy anew, but to play a much
bigger role in "Machete".

Roles actually, coz Bela has two different characters in Machete.

She is the beautiful and sexy Aginaya who comes from Machete's past and she also plays Rosella, a sketch artist with a skin disease.

Those are two different roles but both will be requiring Bela to get daring, at least to do some sexy scenes with Aljur.

Bela's kissing scene with Aljur by the falls is a must-see!

Aljur Abrenica is set to heat up our TV screens as the new Machete
beginning January 24, 2011 on GMA Telebabad.

Aljur Abrenica, who was StarStruck 4's Ultimate Hunk winner, is living up to his title as he
breathes life into Machete, a role which launched Cesar Montano and
Gardo Versoza during the 90's.

His biggest break to date as the modern Machete is expected to do more wonders to Aljur Abrenica when it comes to his showbiz career. Should Kapuso prime leading men Dingdong Dantes and Richard Gutierrez be threatened? I think
they should.

Some "beki" are reportedly a bit disappointed that Aljur won't be wearing an outfit which is as daring as in the movie version. But Aljur's much bigger and more beefed-up bod can compensate for it.

Playing Aljur's leading ladies in "Machete" are Bela Padilla and the new Ryza Cenon, who also decided to get a bit daring in the soap.

Directed by Don Michael Perez, "Machete" also stars Ryan Eigenmann, Chariz Solomon, Gwen Zamora and Rocky Gutierrez.

Philippines' 50 Hottest Hunks 2010: The results are in!

Who have you voted as the hottest hunk in the Philippines for 2010?

The poll results are in and based on your votes, Fil-Aussie dude James Reid, 17, is the hottest hunk in the Philippines for 2010, beating out Gerald Anderson, 21, and Enchong Dee, 22.

Teen stars were highly favored in the said poll. Aside from James, other teens who ranked higher in the poll are Albie Casiño, 17 (#4), AJ Perez, 17 (#12) and Jhake Vargas, 18 (#15).

Surprisingly, Erwan Heussaff who's only known to us as Anne Curtis' boyfriend and brother of Solenn Heussaff, made it to the Top 50 and is ranked 48th. That goes to show, he's really hot. (What more if he finally enters showbiz?)

The poll ran from December 17 to 27 and had 100 names shortlisted as finalists for the Hottest Hunk 2010 title.

But they were trimmed down into half to make up the list of 50 Hottest Hunks in the Philippines for 2010.
