GB Sampedro is Best Director for "Astig"
The film "Astig" won the most number of awards, a total of 4, during the awarding ceremony for the Cinemalaya Cinco Independent Film Festival and Competition held last night, July 26, at the Cultural Center of the Philippines.
The said film, which is topbilled by Dennis Trillo and produced by TV host Boy Abunda, has won Best Supporting Actor for Arnold Reyes, Best Editing, Best Sound Recording and Best Director for GB Sampedro.
Astig lost the Best Film award to Last Supper No. 3
