Bb. Pilipinas 2011 candidate #40 Monique Manuel is leading in the People's Choice voting

Candidate #40 Monique Manuel (photo) has a wide lead so far in the ongoing People's Choice voting for the Face of Binibining Pilipinas 2011.

Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. has released a partial tally of the text votes on its official Facebook Page earlier this afternoon and it shows that Candidate #40 is the one leading with 25.32% while in a very very far 2nd is Candidate #10 Hazelyn Santos with only 7.37%.

Binibining Pilipinas 2011 finals is happening exactly a month from now.

Though there were several pageant activities happened in February, like the Talent Competition, the press presentation happened last March 8 was the official start of the Binibining Pilipinas 2011 pageant.

Bb. Pilipinas 2011 Top 50 Candidates in Pictures

The Top 50 Bb. Pilipinas 2011 candidates announced last Monday will be trimmed down to just 24 to become the official candidates of Bb. Pilipinas 2011 pageant whose finals will be held on April 10.

I hope they're gonna make it 30, because as what was revealed at the press conference, the Binibining Pilipinas 2011 attracted a record number of over 100 applicants and this year's batch is definitely the strongest one.

Take a look at some of the Top 50 candidates:

Martha Chloe McCully aka Chloe Dauden, one of the 26K Girls on ABS-CBN's Kapamilya Deal Or No Deal. In an interview shown on TV Patrol, Chloe said that she has just graduated from college last September and since then, she has been training already for Binibining Pilipinas.


Diana Arevalo tries her luck once more. She was a Top 10 semi-finalist in Binibining Pilipinas 2009.


Patricia Marie Tumulak does a cross-over. She was Miss Fire at the Miss Philippines Earth 2009 pageant.


Just like Diana, Ma. Paula Bianca Paz was a candidate in Bb. Pilipinas '09 but unplaced. She's the ex-gf of actor Polo Ravales.


Dianne Necio from Iriga, CamSur. She was last year's 1st Runner Up and gave up the title so she could join again this year.


Gianna Therese Quintos from San Juan City is a pageant newbie but already has the "Venus Raj" aura. She took up Sports Studies from UP Diliman and also Nursing from Krester Grant College in QC. Gianna has just passed the Licensure Exam for Nurses last August.


Shamcey Supsup from GenSan. She graduated from UP Diliman and topped the Architecture Licensure Exam last year. Yes, as in #1. Wow!


Queenierich "Queenie" Rehman, a model from Monaco Models Agency


Arabella "Ara" Hanesh (Close Up To Fame 2 Grand Winner / Host from ABS-CBN Baguio) and Karla Lacson (Miss Turismo Pilipina 2009 contestant)


Krysle Ann Grant aka Krystle Dizon was Miss Air during the Miss Philippines Earth 2007 pageant. She represented the Philippines in Miss Tourism Queen International 2008 held in China but she missed te Top 20 cut.


Just like Krystle, Sabrinne Al-Tawil from Bacolod (left) already represented the country in an international pageant. She competed in the Miss Friendship International 2010 held also in China and was among the Top 15. Also in the picture is Lara Marcelo (right) from Bulacan. She's Bb. Bulacan Earth at La Bulakenya 2010 pageant.


Zephora Mayon aka Zara Aldana was a housemate of Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition 2 and later landed as puzzle assistant at Kris Aquino's game show "Wheel Of Fortune". She was crowned Mutya ng Pilipinas Asia-Pacific 2007 but she gave up the title soon after.
