Monique Manuel really has lots of supporters 'coz she's also the one leading on Mykiru's Fun Poll which has been opened since February.

Disclaimer: Mykiru's poll is not official nor being conducted by the BPCI. It's just for fun, which aims to determine who the favorites are by online users. Mykiru will consider the results of the poll in coming up with its list of favorites just like in the previous years.

By the way, Mykiru's list of favorites (or the winners predictions) will be revealed this coming Sunday hours before the grand coronation night.

In 2007, 2009 and 2010, Mykiru's list correctly predicted 2 of the 3 titleholders.

Don't ask about the 2008 predictions 'coz the results that year were considered among the most surprising results ever of the pageant.

Binibining Pilipinas 2011 Press Presentation: 3 more candidates added to the official list

The Binibining Pilipinas 2011 candidates were presented to the press yesterday, March 8, at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Hotel.

There were still 40 Binibining Pilipinas 2011 candidates who paraded in front of the media despite removal of Grendel Alvardo, Jen Olivar and Roxanne Cabañero from the roster of candidates days ago.

It turned out that they added 3 new candidates to replace the above-mentioned names.

The three new official Binibining Pilipinas 2011 candidates are:

Candidate #9 Bernadette Aguirre from Bulacan

Candidate #17 Gerlie Lero from Catanduanes

Candidate #40 Monique Teruelle Manuel from Bataan

Monique is most familiar to pageant fans as candidate of Miss Philippines-Earth 2009 where she was among the Top 10 finalists. Remember her chicken pox admission during the interview portion?

Some of the candidates of Binibining Pilipinas 2011 are reportedly
unhappy with the addition of 3 more candidates.

It's understandable 'coz they've already participated in various pageant activities since January 29, more than a month ahead of the
three new candidates.

Jane Hidalgo was supposed to be among the 3 new candidates, but she's already set to join Miss Philippines Earth 2011.
