'In The Name Of Love' box-office gross: P15 million on its opening day

"In The Name of Love", which stars Aga Muhlach and Angel Locsin, has earned a high P15-million during its opening day last Wednesday, May 11, 2011, according to SNN's news report last night.

That definitely calls for an early victory party for the whole cast, staff and crew of "In The Name of Love", which is directed by Olivia Lamasan.

The P15 million opening gross of "In The Name of Love" is the same as the opening gross of "Catch Me, I'm In Love" and "Pak! Pak! My Dr. Kwak" which were shown early this year.

Aga's previous movie "A Love Story" shown in 2007 and Direk Olive's 2009 film "In My Life" also both earned P15 million during their 1st day in the Philippine box-office.

Congrats Star Cinema for another box-office hit!

Phil Younghusband and Angel Locsin movie date at the Podium

Phil Younghusband had to make up with Angel Locsin last night after they went separate ways last Tuesday.

Angel Locsin was at the grand premiere of her movie "In the Name of Love" while Phil Younghusband attended Justin Bieber's Live in Manila concert at MOA Concert Grounds along with his brother James Younghusband and James' girlfriend Fiona Faulkner.

And just last night, May 11, Phil and Angel spent a night together when Phil escorted Angel Locsin during the block screening of "In the Name of Love" at The Podium.

Photo of Angel Locsin and Phil Younghusband during the block screening of "In The Name of Love" held at The Podium

According to those who were there at the block screening, Phil and Angel were so close to each other while watching the movie and Angel was spotted whispering not once, but many times into Phil's ears.

What do you think Angel was whispering to Phil?

I think Angel was helping out Phil understand some of the dialogues in the movie. So sweet!

I wonder how Phil felt when he saw the steamy bed scenes of Angel in the movie. Did he close his eyes? Or were his eyes wide open? I'm sure Phil feels more proud that he is dating the hot and sexy Angel Locsin after watching those scenes.

Phil and Angel reportedly went to Starbucks after their movie date.

'In The Name of Love' movie trailer released! Love it!

Before everyone takes a Holy Week holiday leave, Star Cinema released the official trailer of 'In The Name of Love' which stars Aga Muhlach, Angel Locsin and Jake Cuenca.

The trailer was first released via its official website (inthenameoflove.starcinema.com.ph or simply inthenameoflove.ph) and was later uploaded on Youtube (StarCinemaABSCBN).

The movie, which is directed by Olivia Lamasan, definitely has many amazing scenes squeezed in the 4-minute trailer. And I super love these ones:

Aga Muhlach Angel Locsin kissing scene

Angel in hot bathtub scene

Angel Locsin Jake Cuenca bed scene

Angel Locsin pole dancing

Angel pole dancer

Excited much to see it?

Here's the trailer of "In The Name of Love":

Gary V. is singing the theme song of this new movie of Aga Muhlach. In the past, he already sang the theme song of 4 Aga Muhlach movies: "Kailangan Kita", "Dubai", "All My Life" and "When Love Begins", 2 of which gave Aga the Box Office King title.

And for "In the Name of Love", Gary V. sings his own version of Matt Monro hit "Portrait of My Love".

"In The Name of Love" is showing on May 11, 2011.

'In The Name of Love' official movie poster

Star Cinema has released the official poster of the highly-anticipated movie "In The Name Of My Love" which pairs up King of Romantic-Drama Movies Aga Muhlach and the Philippines' Sexiest Angel Locsin for the first time.

I love the poster. My reaction when I first saw it was "Wow! So hot!" It's one eye-catching poster, and I think it's one of Star Cinema's best-looking posters.

"In The Name Of Love" will hit theaters this May 11, 2011, as Star Cinema's 18th Anniversary Offering, and whenever it's their anniversary offering or a Star Cinema movie is shown in May, it's always a hit. Speaking about "Here Comes The Bride", "BFF: Best Friend's Forever", "Caregiver", "All My Life" and "Ang Tanging Ina" which were all shown in May and were Star Cinema's anniversary offerings.

Joining Aga Muhlach and Angel Locsin in "In The Name of Love" is hunkified actor Jake Cuenca.

Directed by Olivia Lamasan, the movie also stars Dante Rivero, Carmi Martin, Leo Rialp, Smokey Manaloto, Ryan Eigenmann, Emilio Garcia, Kat Alano, Dimples Romana, Bobby Andrews, Michael Flores, Joshua Zamora, Nanding Josef, Maliksi Morales and Paul Salas.

Don't forget - May 11 - Mark your calendars now!!!
