The 74 candidates of Mr. World 2010 just walked the runway earlier wearing the creations of Korea's top fashion designer Andre Kim.
The Charity Fashion Show had 5 stages where the candidates had to wear wardrobes inspired from these 5 themes: 1. 2010 Winter Olympics 2.FIFA World Cup 3. Wedding Wear 4. Tuxedo Wear 5. Korean Royal Costumes.
At the end of the fashion show, 20 finalists were announced then 2 were called as runner ups but only 1 was crowned Mr. World Top Model 2010 and has been fastracked to the semis this Saturday.
Mr. Brazil Jonas Sulzbach won the competition tonight and now joins Mr. Talent Fast Track winner Ji-Kwang Yoo in the finals. It's not a suprise because the 24-year-old 6'2 Mr. Brazil is a top fashion model in his country.
Announced as 1st Runner Up was Mr Czech Republic Josef Karas while 2nd Runner Up was Mr Netherlands Honza Jan Filipi.
In the Top 20 were the representatives from Angola (Jorge Martins), Bahamas (Kendrick Kemp), Bulgaria (Martin Martinov), China (Lei Zhao), Cyprus (Christos Christodoulides), Egypt (Tarek Naguib), Germany (Michael Pichler), Hong Kong (Wesley Lee), India (Inder Bajwa), Korea, Lebanon (Abdel El Balaa), Nigeria (Kenneth Okolie), Northern Ireland (Matthew Poole), Norway (Chris Andre Eileng), Poland (Maksymilian Lewandowski), Romania (Voicu Panzar) and Venezuela (Jose Manuel
Flores).
Notice that only 2 or 3 of them are Latinos while 8 from Europe and 5 coming from Asia. Other favorites like Spain, Sweden and Belgium failed to get shortlisted.
Tomorrow, there's one last fast track event awaiting for them and that is the Sports Competition Finals.
