"And I Love You So" not being screened at any SM Cinemas

Star Cinema has already announced during the premiere night of "And I Love You So" at TriNoma that the movie will not be screened at any SM Cinemas due to the ongoing problem they have with the latter.

The problem being referred to is the still unreported collections and/or inaccurate reporting by SM Cinemas for some of their previous films' earnings beginning 2003.

A short statement was made by Edgar Tejerero, SVP for SM Cinemas:

“It is unfortunate that we are unable to show ‘And I Love You So’ in our cinemas today. We remain committed to the continued growth of the Philippine Film Industry by providing our customers with wholesome family entertainment in our movie theaters.”

But need not worry as the film is still being shown (starting today) in over a hundred theaters nationwide.
