The winners for the 12th Shanghai International Film Festival Asian New Talent Awards have been announced yesterday, June 19, with Korea's Scandal Makers winning the top prize.
Scandal Makers won Best Feature Film beating other entries such as A Wednesday (India), Be Calm and Count to Seven (Iran), Days with You (Japan), Jalainur (PR China), The Days (Singapore), Vacation (Japan), Walk to School (PR China) and Sabong (Prince of Cockfighting) from the Philippines.
Jalainur meanwhile won Best Director for Zhao Yeo and the Students' Choice Award.
The Jury Prix was awarded to Be calm and Count to Seven (Iran).
