Marian Rivera flies high in her "Darna" costume

They say it's the sexiest and best Darna costume ever.

Does it follow that Marian Rivera is also the sexiest Darna ever?

As reported on 24 Oras last night, Marian Rivera already did the pictorial and costume fitting as Darna for her upcoming show "Narda" last June 25 and there it was revealed the final costume of Marian for the upcoming show.

The Darna costume was designed by Bong Leal and a Singaporean designer.

Initial reviews on the new Darna costume have good things to say, especially for Marian who they consider as the sexiest Darna ever in history.

Dunno how the fans of Angel Locsin, the first ever Darna on TV, would react on this.

Marian shared she has already started training for her stunts until the shooting starts next month.

Narda, with Marian Rivera in the title role and Mark Anthony Fernandez as leading man plus the support of Paolo Contis, Robert 'Buboy' Villar, Iwa Moto, Isabel Oli, Nadine Samonte, Ehra Madrigal, Gabby Eigenmann, Maggie Wilson and Raymart Santiago, is scheduled to premiere this August 2009.
