International Mr. Gay 2009 candidates

Kris Cristopherson Cardenas (photo above) will be representing the Philippines in the 4th International Mr. Gay competition happening this June 26, 2009 at Palacio de Maynila in Manila, Philippines.

Kris or Kristoff, who is 24 years old and stands 5'10", is a registered nurse (just got his professional license last November.)

He took up Nursing at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila.

As of latest count, twenty-five (25) gorgeous and globally-conscious gay guys will be competing for the 2009 International Mr. Gay competition.

Mr. Gay 2008 Carlos Fabian Melia from Argentina will crown the new Mr. Gay during the finals/awards gala which will be hosted by Mr. Gay Congeniality 2007 from the Philippines Robby Tarroza and Filipina TV personality Regine Tolentino.

It will be the first time that the 4-year-old pageant will be held outside the US.

Previous Mr. Gay International titleholders were Jesse Bashem (USA), Nathan Shaked (Israel) and Carlos Melia (Argentina).

Browsing at the list of candidates, nice to see a Pakistani will be joining the pageant in Manila.

Australia will be represented by a brown-skinned candidate while Colombia's Franciso Javier Ortega competed at Mr. Gay World 2008 where he was Mr. Congeniality.

And the names of the candidates from Japan (IYOTA Watanabe), Thailand (KIDDIPORN PUKPUK) and Vietnam (VUTU LAKI) are very interesting.

Check them out...
