The Miss Universe 2009 pageant will be held from August 1 to 23 at the Paradise Island in the Bahamas. As of latest count, 58 candidates have already been selected to compete for the crown.
Based on the initial photos available, greatlooking contestants for me are Misses Belgium, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, Japan, Lebanon, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico, Slovak Republic, Turkey, UK and USA.
