Vice Ganda, Sarah Geronimo, Angel Locsin: Facebook's most popular celebs | Cristine Reyes, James Reid hit 1 million likes

TV host / comedian Vice Ganda still has the most Facebook fans among our local celebrities.

His Facebook Page at any moment could already reach 3 million likes and he has almost a million lead over our President, Noynoy Aquino or PNoy, who has 1.9 million likes in his Facebook Page, as of April 16, 2011, 5PM.

Angel Locsin meanwhile is the most popular Filipina actress with her Facebook Page having 1.8 million likes, while Sarah Geronimo is the most popular singer with 1.6 million likes.

Cristine Reyes and James Reid are the latest celebrities from the Philippines to have reached more than a million fans or likes on Facebook.

The sexy actress, who has an interesting movie coming up (TUMBOK), now has 1,009,623 likes while PBB Teen Clash 2010 winner and Mykiru's Hottest Hunk for 2010 James Reid has 1,004,581 likes.

Cristine's Facebook Page ranks 12th in the Philippines, now closer to the Top 10 and might join Sarah Geronimo who currently ranks 4th.

James' page meanwhile is ranked 13th, but the 17-year-old Fil-Australian hottie is the one leading on Facebook among our teen stars. (ABS-CBN needs to be aware of this!)

Chito Miranda of Parokya ni Edgar expresses sadness over Bamboo's disbandment

Just like the fans, Parokya Ni Edgar's lead vocalist Chito Miranda is also sad that the band Bamboo allegedly has disbanded already.

It's still a hot topic until now the issue about Bamboo's decision to disband, which was announced on Twitter yesterday morning by radio host KC Montero.

Today, Chito has expressed on Twitter his sadness over the news about Bamboo's disbandment. He said, "Nagdisband na daw Bamboo. Si Ebe (Dancel) umalis sa Sugarfree. Si Champ (Lui Pio) din sa Hale. I know they have their reasons and I respect their decision. Pero kahit ano pa yun, malungkot pa rin ako."

Chito's band Parokya Ni Edgar was considered a close rival of Bamboo during the last decade with Chito and Bamboo MaƱalac being pitted against each other as fans' favorite vocalist.

The two already teamed up in 2010, along with Kamikazee, during the Rock Overload concert held in April.

With Bamboo now disbanding, Parokya ni Edgar remains intact, still has the same lead vocalist since it was formed in 1993.

A fan asked Chito if he also has a plan of going solo. And Chito responded, "wala po. mas enjoy kasi pagkasama ko mga kabanda ko eh."

Meanwhile, KC Montero has a new Twitter post telling everyone about Bamboo releasing their statement about the issue. "Bamboo (band) should be posting something on their site either today or tomorrow...so I'm told."
