David Archuleta Live in Manila 2011 concert tonight

David Archuleta stages "Live in Manila" concert tonight (July 18, 2011) at 8:00 PM in Araneta Coliseum.

Archuleta arrived yesterday afternoon, July 17, and went straight to SM Megamall for a meet-and-greet with his fans and also for a cd autograph signing.

Before the cd signing, Archuleta answered fan questions and serenaded his Pinoy fans with the song "Stand By Me". Watch video (courtesy of superduperbuknoy):

David Archuleta's Live in Manila 2011 concert is being presented tonight by Ovation Productions.

After his concert tonight, Archuleta will also hold a cd signing at SM Southmall in Las Piñas City tomorrow, July 19, at 6PM.

Only David Archuleta's cds (The Other Side of Down: Asian Tour Edition) purchased at Odyssey Music and Video store will be signed.

It's already David's 3rd time to visit the Philippines.

He was here in May 2009 for a back-to-back concert with American Idol Season 7 winner David Cook at the SM MOA Concert Grounds.

He came back just last November to promote his album "The Other Side of Down" at the Skydome in SM North EDSA.

Miley Cyrus' guesting on "Eat Bulaga" (video)

Miley Cyrus guested on GMA 7's noontime show "Eat Bulaga" yesterday, June 16, 2011, to promote her "Live in Manila" concert which is happening tonight, June 17, 8PM at the SM MOA Concert Grounds.

The Philippines is the only Asian stop in Miley Cyrus' world tour and when asked by Eat Bulaga host Pia Guanio why she chose the country, Miley said, "Just because of the fans you know, they've been asking me to come here", which sounded so great to the live studio audience.

The Miley Cyrus Live in Manila concert will feature Pinoy performers Sam Concepcion and Elmo Magalona as the Opening Act.

Local celebs who have said on Twitter that they will be watching the concert tonight include Ruffa Gutierrez with daughters Venice and Lorin, brother Raymond and mom Annabelle Rama, the Magalona siblings with mom Pia, the cast of the film "Tween Academy: Class of 2012", Star Magic talent Arie Reyes, "Trip Na Trip" host Catherine 'Kat' De Castro and many more.

Miley Cyrus Live in Manila Concert: Presscon photos and video

Miley Cyrus is now here in Manila, Philippines for a one-night "Live in Manila" concert at SM Mall Of Asia (MOA) Concert Grounds Friday, June 17, 2011.

Miley arrived late night Wednesday and had to hold a press conference Thursday afternoon at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Makati City.

At the presscon hosted by Filipina singer-actress-host Nikki Gil, Miley revealed that aside from being excited to perform for her Filipino fans, she's also excited to go shopping here. (at Greenhills perhaps?)

Miley was also awarded at the presscon with a Platinum Records Award by MCA Music (Universal Philippines) for her three albums: "Can't Be Tamed", "Breakout" and "The Time Of Our Lives".

Prior to the press conference, Miley made a guesting on GMA 7's "Eat Bulaga", the Philippines' longest-running noontime show.

Bruno Mars 'Live in Cebu' concert videos, Manila is next!

Bruno Mars is now here in the Philippines, but I'm so disappointed that there was no news coverage of his arrival at the airport.

Only a plain report that Bruno Mars has arrived already on Philippine shores can be seen on TV news reports with no footage of his arrival.

Bruno Mars already staged his 'Live in Cebu' concert last night, April 7, and tonight, April 8, it's Manila's turn to see him performing live at the Araneta Coliseum.
