"Inception" storyline explained | It's a sure box office winner!

Finally I was able to watch last night the much talked about film "Inception", whose storyline was a mystery ever since and the movie
ending created so much buzz yesterday.

And that explains why I had no new post during the last 16 hours.

After I blogged about the movie ending yesterday based on some people's reviews, I was never that curious about a movie. That's why I had to watch it right away with "someone".

And it's all worth it to watch "Inception". It's the kind of movie that
will be sticking on your mind for many hours, days or even weeks.

Inception's storyline is so original and mind-challenging, but is hard to be explained in words here. Watching it is the best way to understand it.

The movie centers on Cobb (played by Leonardo DiCaprio) who steals valuable info, ideas and secrets from other people's minds by entering into their dreams using technology. Yes, Leo is a thief, a criminal here.

And why is it titled "Inception"? We usually interpret the word as beginning or origin, but the movie gives it a deeper meaning.

Inception has a major twist, where Cobb is hired, now no longer to steal ideas, but to plant (destructive) ideas to a person's mind through his dream. And I think that's where "inception"
comes into the storyline, an initiation of something which in the end he might regret doing.

Inception's actually a film which could initiate good discussions. You can have your own interpretation and analysis of the scenes and after watching it, you'll have lots of "why, why, why".

Inception lasts for more than 2 hours and is truly the best movie this 2010. You should not miss a single scene. As they say, don't blink an eye as you watch it.

With the good reviews and the loud buzz, Inception will be a box office winner. I'm so much sure of that.

What's with the "Inception" movie ending?

They're all talking about the ending of "Inception". Ano kayang meron?

The sci-fi/thriller movie "Inception" has premiered worldwide yesterday, July 15, 2010. It stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ellen Page and Marion
Cotillard.

Written and directed by "The Dark Knight" director Christopher Nolan,
"Inception" is a great movie daw and according to those who watched
here in the Philippines yesterday, mapapamura ka raw after watching
the film sa sobrang ganda. Di nga?

And the Inception ending daw was superb. Truly, the exciting ending is
creating so much hype now for the movie.

People from around the world are discussing about it. Browsing at the Inception reviews online, they're also talking about
the ending. Read on:

Alice Wong @ mymodernmet.com: "Everyone must watch it, and I'm not
exaggerating. THE ENDING WAS PERFECT!!!!"

Regnard Raquedan @ screensucked.com : "The film has a great twist and
an open-ended ending that will make fans scream "mindf*ck!"

Nicholas C @ nicholashandsome.blogspot.com : "Inception is every sense of the word storytelling brilliance and it's beginning, build, climax and ambiguous ending is going to be the subject of many discussions for years to come."

But there are also some who don't like the ending, just like Martyn Conterio @ filmshaft.com : "There is too much 'complex ideas' for
dummies' style dialogue and Nolan isn't quite brave enough to be too
ambiguous. The ending is also less effective than it could be. It appears a tingle instead of a jolt."

The Inception ending makes me so curious that I might watch
it soon. Are you watching too? But watch "Cinco" first okay?

Obama, Madonna to visit the Philippines this 2010

US President Barack Obama and Queen of Pop Madonna are reportedly coming to the Philippines.

That's according to socialite and TV host Tim Yap, who first shared the scoop on Twitter.

Though Tim did not cite where he got the scoop, but from the way it was tweeted, it's very much certain to happen. "Okay, here's a SCOOP. And again, you heard it FIRST FROM ME. You know who's coming to Manila before the year ends? Obama AND Madonna," he said.

Notice that there's an emphasis on the word "AND". Does it mean they're coming together?

Together or not, it's indeed so much of a blessing to have Obama and Madonna here in the Philippines.

Obama's visit will be for sure political-related but for Madonna, it's
either she'll stage a concert or she'll be here talking about child advocacy. Or maybe she'll adopt a Filipino child. Which one do you like Madonna to do?

In August, also being expected to visit the Philippines is Hollywood superstar Leonardo DiCaprio for an environmental awareness program. He'll be staying for 1 week at Misibis Bay Resort in Albay, Bicol Region.

Tim Yap was also the one who shared that Boys Over Flowers' Jun Pyo or Lee Min Ho MIGHT come to Manila next month.
