Karin Ontiveros Meza wins Nuestra Belleza Mexico 2010, to compete in Miss Universe 2011

Karin Cecilia Ontiveros Meza has won the Nuestra Belleza Mexico 2010 pageant held last night, September 25, at the Parque de las Maravillas in the city of Saltillo in Coahuila, Mexico.

Thirty-one candidates from various states in Mexico competed in the pageant and Miss Jalisco Karin Ontiveros was chosen as the winner succeeding last year's winner Jimena Navarrete, the reigning Miss Universe 2010 and also from Jalisco.

It's now the 3rd straight year that a candidate from Jalisco won the Nuestra Belleza Mexico pageant after Karla Carillo in 2008 and
Navarrete in 2009.

Karin, a 22-year-old model and stands 5'11, will soon represent Mexico in Miss Universe 2011.

Miss Nuevo Leon Cynthia de la Vega meanwhile was crowned Nuestra
Belleza Mexico Mundo 2010 and will compete in Miss World 2011. Gabriela Palacio Diaz on one hand will be representing her country in Miss International 2010 or 2011.
