Phil Younghusband is hotter than Piolo Pascual

Azkals' Phil Younghusband has topped Mykiru's January 2011 Hottest Hunks Poll.

The said poll, which is a qualifying stage for the Philippines' Hottest Hunks Poll for 2011, had 20 names of men as choices and asked the voters for 10 hunks who they think were the hottest in January.

It was Phil Younghusband who got the highest number of votes, 12.33% of the total votes while Piolo Pascual, boyfriend of Phil's crush KC Concepcion, came in 2nd with 10.57%.

Phil, Piolo and the rest of the Top 10 will now join 90 other men in the Philippines' Hottest Hunks 2011 Poll which will start in October.

Next month, a new poll will be opened for the Hottest Hunks in February 2011 and again the Top 10 hunks who topped the poll will move to the next round.

Edward "Eddie" Mendez as Mark Laurel in "Magkaribal"

Now 28 years old, Edward Mendez or Eddie Mendez is back on TV after being gone for 6 long years.

On last night's episode of ABS-CBN's Magkaribal, Edward made his first
appearance in the hit fahion-serye as Mark Laurel, business partner of Gelai played by Bea Alonzo.

And from the way he was introduced in the show, it seems like Edward has a major role and is going to be Bea's love interest other than
Derek Ramsay.

Not new in showbiz, this American-raised Filipino hunk was last seen on TV in 2004 as Iza Calzado's love team partner on GMA 7's Love2Love: Sweet Exchange, which also starred Dingdong Dantes and Karylle.

Prior to that, Edward was a finalist in MTV VJ Search 2003 and among the Cosmo Centerfolds the same year. It was also during that year when he starred in Star Cinema's "Pinay Pie" topbilled by Ai-Ai delas Alas.

He also appeared in a shampoo commercial back then with Donita Rose.

Edward is also set to launch his own book entitled "Your Dream Body Come True" where he teaches the readers how to attain a dream body based on his personal experiences and findings.

In his book he said that a person with a good outer-shell appearance would have more chances of maintaining his/her spot in the unforgiving game of "showbiz".

And now he's back on the showbiz scence, probably having more confidence with better appearance and hopefully stayin' for good.
