American Idol Season 10 Finale Performances (videos)

American Idol Season 10 is now on its 2nd to the last episode, with tonight's epi featuring the finale performances of the Final 2: Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina.

The face-off of Scotty, 17, and Lauren, 16, are considered the youngest face-off ever on American Idol, but definitely they're not the least when it comes to vocal prowess.

For their finale performances, Scotty and Lauren had to sing 3 songs each: one is their favorite song, another is a song picked by their musical idol (George Strait for Scotty, Carrie Underwood for Lauren) and lastly, an original composition by Jimmy Iovine which will be their first single.

Sotty McCreery first sang his favorite song "Gone" by Montgomery Gentry, then "Check Yes or No" chosen for him by George Strait and finally "Love You This Big", while Lauren performed Katrina Elam's "Flat On The Floor", then the song "Maybe It Was Memphis" by Pam Tillis picked by Carrie Underwood and "Like My Mother Does" for her 3rd song.

44th Country Music Awards (CMA 2010) Winners: Brad Paisley named Entertainer of the Year

The 44th Annual Country Music Association Awards or the CMA Awards 2010 has just been held Wednesday night, November 10, 2010, at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, USA.

Hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, the night's big winner was Miranda Lambert picking 3 awards, followed by Lady Antebellum and Blake Shelton with 2 each.

Brad Paisley, the host, was named as Entertainer of the Year, the highest award.

It's Brad's first time to win as Entertainer of the Year, after winning as Male Vocalist of the Year three times in the CMAs.

Last year's Entertainer of the Year Taylor Swift was also there as one of the performers. Watch her performance HERE.

Taylor was nominated in one category this CMA Awards 2010 (Best Female Vocalist) but she lost to Lambert. But on next year's CMA Awards, I'm pretty sure she's gonna score big.

Carrie Underwood wedding pictures exclusive in a magazine

I can't waait to see the pictures of Carrie Underwood - Mike Fisher wedding, which was held Saturday, July 10, in Georgia, USA.

But sorry folks, we can't see it for now as reportedly the wedding pictures will be sold exclusively to a weekly magazine in the US.

And the media people were not allowed to be at the venue, the
luxurious Ritz-Carlton Lodge in Reynolds Plantation, coz the small but lavish wedding was a private event only attended by family members and
close friends.

I'm pretty sure that Carrie's dress was super fab. That's actually
what most people want to see.

According to Hollywood Life, the wedding cost reached half a million dollars and American Idol judges Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson were among the attendees.

Carrie Underwood, 27, was American Idol Season 4 winner and a Grammy-winning country singer while Mike Fisher, 30, is a Canadian ice hockey player.

2010 CMT Music Awards Winners: Carrie Underwood wins 2, Taylor Swift wins nothing

Country Music Television (CMT) has handed out its 2010 Music Awards Wednesday, June 9, at the Bridgestone Arena in Tennessee, USA.

And the night's biggest winner was Carrie Underwood who won the Video of the Year and Performance of the Year Awards.

Both Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift had 3 nods each, but Taylor went home empty-handed.
