Gerald Anderson broke down and cried during the "Till My Heartaches End" movie press conference held this afternoon at the Dolphy Theater in ABS-CBN.
Gerald was seated beside loveteam partner Kim Chiu and movie director Joey Reyes and according to ABS-CBN News, he started to cry while answering a question asked by Abante Tonite columnist Allan Diones about whether he ever asked Kim if she (still) loves him and Gerald went on to admit that he hurt Kim many times. "Sa loob ng 4 years, opo, nagkaroon kami ng special relationship. We shared very happy moments together. We cared for each other, at times, syempre we hurt each other, mas madalas, ako. Pero masakit kasi. Ang masakit don ay ang dami kong binigay sa kanyang problema at heartaches. Pero tinanggap nya pa rin ako."
Gerald cried, Kim was crying too and Gerald then walked out of the presscon.
Kim was left to entertain queries from the press and she made an appeal to the fans to accept what is happening in their personal lives and to stop threatening Gerald and rumored girlfriend Bea Alonzo. "May naririnig akong papatayin si Bea. Tatapunan ng asido. Papatayin si Gerald...Sana tanggapin nyo na kung anuman 'yung nangyari and sana, maging masaya tayo. Kung anuman ang nangyayari ngayon, sana ang tanggapin nyo na at maintindihan nila na may personal din akong buhay."
Then later, Kim also excused herself and left.
It was later revealed at the presscon that Gerald and even Kim experienced
hyperventilation and both had to be attended by medics causing them to not finish presscon.
It's kinda heartbreaking to see those pictures of Gerald and even Kim crying at the press con. But I hope that it's not just a publicity stunt or a gimmick for the movie, which is reportedly the two's last chance to prove their loveteam.
What do you think guys? Was Gerald sincere when he cried? Do you
believe that they really experienced hyperventilation? Did Kim really mean to cry or was asked to cry?
You know why I have those questions in mind? It's because I'm wondering why they have to wait for a press con to cry when they had all the opp to do it during their many interviews prior to the press con, most especially during their respective one-on-one with Boy Abunda for SNN and The Buzz.
But as a fan of the two, of course, I'm still gonna watch the movie even without the crying part. I just think that it was unnecessary to cry while promoting a movie.
