Rima Fakih Pole Dancing Scandal Photos

Miss USA Universe 2010 Rima Fakih has reacted on the pole dancing scandal photos which circulated online last Monday, a day after she won as Miss USA 2010.

On NBC's Today Show in the US yesterday, Rima has confirmed she's indeed the girl in the pole dancing photos but she denied she's a contestant in the pole dancing event of a Detroit radio program.

"It was not a stripper pole contest, it was actually a promotional event that my friend, who's a DJ at that radio station, had for women," Rima said.

Rima also stressed she didn't do anything wrong.

The photos were posted on mojointhemorning.com when it congratulated Rima for winning as Miss USA 2010 and alleged that Rima has won in a radio program's 'Stripper 101' contest back in 2007. Videos of it have also been downloaded on Youtube.

As you can see in the picture above, I don't see anything wrong with it and the Miss USA organizer reportedly feels the same way. I also think that Rima's swimsuit and lingerie photos for the pageant were far more racy than that.

It's not the only scandal that Rima is facing now. As a Muslim, some are reportedly questioning her posing in swimsuit or in a provocative manner, which is against Muslim tradition.
