After Charice this August 2010, Vice Ganda is the next Filipino celebrity to be on the cover of Reader's Digest Asia.
For its September 2010 issue, Reader's Digest Asia features Jose Mari
Viceral, his life and about how he becomes Vice Ganda, the newest gay
icon in the Philippines.
For sure, Vice's story will be an inspiration to the magazine's readers.
Included in the magazine are some of Vice's old pictures, when he was
still Jose Mari Viceral, during the time he hasn't "outed" yet. Here's a sample photo:
September 2010 will be indeed Vice Ganda's month. Aside from the
Reader's Digest Asia cover, his debut movie "Petrang Kabayo" will be
shown in cinemas and his first ever TVC will be out, it's for Globe Supertext20.
Meanwhile, on Facebook where he now has more than 2 million followers,
Vice posted his official statement about the issue that he's leaving, as in quitting as Showtime judge. He said, "Hindi totoong aalis ako sa Showtime! Hindi ko iiwan ang Showtime! Ito ang pamilya ko at mahal ko ang programang ito. Mananatili akong Hurado at patuloy akong magpapasaya para sa inyong mga Madlang People at mga Kapamilya ko!"
Good decision Vice!
