she started her journey of acting by joined the dancing group of Gypsies and perform over 10 years and after she done several commercial films and most of films are sinhala comedy films. Nilanthi Dias is a talented dancer , she won the Runner Up title in Sirasa Dancing Stars and She also won Talent Award in Sarsaviya Film Awards 2006
