Richest Congressman in the Philippines 2011 List: Manny Pacquiao is #1, Gloria Arroyo only ranks 17th

The richest Congressman in the Philippines is no other than Saranggani Representative Manny Pacquiao. Naman!

Even if you don't make computations, just thinking of the many times Manny Pacquiao won billions during his fights inside the boxing ring, you can already say that Pacquiao is indeed the richest congressman in the Philippines, and is definitely among the super rich Filipinos.

According to Manny Pacquiao's statement of assets, liabilities and net worth from the House of Representatives, this world boxing champion is worth P1.134 billion as of Dec. 31, 2010 making him as the richest and the only one with a billion net worth among the 284 congressmen in the Philippines.

And take note, Manny has no liability, not a single peso. (Share your blessings Manny!)

Surprisingly, former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo who now sits as Pampanga Rep. is only the 17th richest representative with net worth of P140.212 million and Leyte Rep. Lucy Torres-Gomez is even richer than her.

Sen. Bong Revilla's wife and actress, Cavite Rep. Lani Mercado is the 21st wealthiest representative.
