Jennylyn Mercado faces perjury charges from former P.A. Mel Pulmano

Jennylyn Mercado is facing perjury charges from former personal assistant Rowena Pulmano.

Last Monday, Pulmano filed the perjury charges against Jennylyn before the Quezon City Prosecutors Office, Manila Standard Today reported yesterday.

The move by Pulmano is due to Jennylyn's accusation that she forged Jen's signatures in 19 checks amounting to over P460,000.

Jennylyn filed a case of qualified theft against Pulmano last October 28, 2008, but just last January 25, the case was junked by the Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 77.

I'm sad for Jen.

But on a positive note, Jennylyn and Carlo Aquino are headlining a show this coming March 12, exactly 10 days from now.

It's entitled "Experienced Young Love" and will be held at the Thunderbird Resorts Fiesta Casino in Rizal, 9PM on Mar. 12.

Admission is free.
