Seoul Music Awards 2011 winners: Girls' Generation (SNSD) wins Daesang Award for the 2nd consecutive year

The 20th Seoul Music Awards has just concluded tonight, January 20, 2011, in South Korea.
This year's Seoul Music Awards was presented at the Kyunghee University Hall of Peace in Seoul, attended by some of the hottest K-pop artists.

The all-female group Girls' Generation (SNSD) was the biggest winner, taking home the highest award called "Daesang" as well as the Hallyu and Popularity Awards.

It's already the 2nd consecutive year that SNSD won the Daesang award, only the 4th Kpop artist and the 1st female group to achieve such feat.

Girls' Generation is responsible for the hits like "Tell Me Your Wish (Genie)", "Oh!", "Run Devil Run" and "Hoot" which even charted on our very own MYX Countdown.

Toot Record of the Year Award - Jang Yoon Jung

Hip Hop Award - Supreme Team

R & B Award - 2AM

Best Performance Award - Bobby Kim

Best Album - "PSY Five" PSY

Digital Album Award - "Real" IU
