Today was Kuya Kim Atienza's grand return as Showtime host after a 1-month sick leave, but it was also the grand exit of the show's long-time judge Jhong Hilario.
Dubbed as the Sample King, Jhong has decided to voluntarily leave as Showtime judge because he has a major major thing to do which he did not elaborate further.
So probably, he has a movie or a teleserye coming up, just like Dimples Romana before who had to opt for a voluntarily eviction as Showtime judge, because she had to be busy in "Agua Bendita".
Jhong got so emotional as he bid farewell to the hosts, staff, to the Madlang Pipol and to his "cutie pie" Vice Ganda, who had no reaction at all, as in totally blank while Jhong was saying goodbye to him.
But not until Vice posted a tweet on Twitter later and dropped the "F" word for not being told beforehand that Jhong was leaving the show. "F_CK!!! D ako prepared! Di ko alam na aalis si Jhong! D nla ko ininform! Hate it! I'm d saddest! Nawala ako sa mood," he said.
Jhong was the longest-staying judge on Showtime, being unevicted for 30 weeks or almost 8 months.
