Coco Martin is all fine now; gets back to work

I was super worried when news broke out that Coco Martin met an accident while taping "Tayong Dalawa" yesterday morning.

The freaky accident was caught on video and was shown on TV Patrol World and on SNN last night.

Coco was visibly injured and hurt during a gunfight with Jake Cuenca's character and his men, after some smoke powder or they call it as special effects for a gun shot went to his eyes.

He was immediately rushed to the University of Sto. Tomas Hospital, had some tests and later discharged.

As of latest update, Coco is now back to work to shoot for his final scenes in "Tayong Dalawa" which will have its grand finale on September 25.

Prior to the accident, Coco guested on ASAP '09 last Sunday along with his co-stars for the farewell special of "Tayong Dalawa", went straight to SM North EDSA SkyDome and later in the evening, headed to Bulacan for the Singkaban Festival Kapamilya Caravan.

Coco will also join Jake Cuenca, Gerald Anderson and Kim Chiu for their grand fans day at SM City Cebu on September 18th, then will have his own solo mall tour at LCC Mall in Naga City the next day.

And speaking of Tayong Dalawa...

Do you want Coco's character there to die? Well, if you ask me, I don't want Ramon to die.

Ramon is one of the well-followed characters there and I will be very sad if he'd be gone even if the show is about to end already later this month.

His scene with dying Lola Gets last Monday was extremely heartbreaking and Coco Martin was so good in that scene. It made me cry.

I think it would be best if he will be given a chance to have a new life and patch things up with his mother (Cherry Pie Picache) and his brothers (Jake Cuenca and Gerald Anderson).

Interesting characters portrayed by Helen Gamboa, Alessandra De Rossi and Gina Pareño are already gone and that's enough. Don't kill Ramon plsss!!!

"Tayong Dalawa" is by far Coco's biggest break on television after penetrating the indie cinema and snatched the "Prince of Indie Films" title.

After "Tayong Dalawa", Coco will also have "Agimat: Tonyong Bayawak" and another one entitled "Nagsimula sa Puso" with Maja Salvador and Jason Abalos.

Coco is one of the newest talents of ABS-CBN Star Magic.
