Wapakman, with Filipino boxing champion Manny 'Pacman' Pacquiao and partly Pinay Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls in the cast, is one of the 8 official entries in the 2009 Metro Manila Film Festival Philippines.
Produced by Solar Entertainment Corporation, Wapakman is a comedy/sci-fi movie about an ordinary single dad (Pacquiao) who becomes a superhero. (Sounds like Pacquiao's real life story)
Also starring is Fil-Am wrestling star Dave Batista as the main villain.
I've already seen the preview of Wapakman when I watched Transformers Revenge of the Fallen yesterday. (It's being aired in-between exhibitions of the Transformers).
