Paquito Diaz, 73, reportedly has died already due to complications from pneumonia.
According to a report early in the morning today from Pilipino Star Ngayon headlined "Paquito pumanaw na!", he reportedly died Saturday, February 26, at the Estevez Memorial Hospital in Legazpi City, Albay.
But a fresh online report from Bombo Radyo Legazpi entitled "Pamilya ni Paquito Diaz, nilinaw na buhay pa ang aktor" posted at around 12 noon today says that Paquito is still alive.
Bombo Radyo had an interview with Paquito's family and they said that the doctors at the hospital made a mistake. They declared the actor as dead but only to find out later he's still alive.
Boyet J Sison, host of ANC's Hard Ball, also posted on Twitter that a daughter of Paquito denied the death rumor. "I was just in communication with the daughter of Paquito Diaz, Joanna Diaz-Gallent, and she says her father has NOT passed on."
Paquito is reportedly still confined and recovering at the hospital.
Estevez Memorial Hospital was the same hospital where my father was confined and died in 2005, but there was no "false alarm". He really died for good.
Let's all continue praying for Paquito Diaz's speedy recovery.
